I designate the Ultimate Warrior as the playoff mascot:

What a great win. Bardzibasci was clutch.

The 4th line played their role, to the level we expect of them.
Brad Richards played a smart game. We cannot tell where the goals might come from.
A very good thing to see.

Gotta win on Sunday, though, or this game means nothing.

Regardless, the guys played really well.

Real awesome. I feel way different about this team than I have our last playoff teams. I think they can roll, win this series in five games.

As close to a perfect game as I can ask for. But it's still early in the series.

The first two periods weren't awful by any means, but I think it took them a little bit to get their playoff legs going.

Good to see the PP connect in a clutch situation.

1 down, 3 to go, 15 to go.

LGR
1st period the Rangers were sluggish.

From the 2nd on, they OWNED, just needed to capitalized.

It was like 22-11 in shots the last 2 periods. Crazy.

Not being cocky tbh. The flyers aren't that good while the rangers are the second best team in the east.

Tonight was the best ranger playoff game post lockout in terms of territorial domination.

Watching the replay of Zucc's goal. He just went for it. If he had turned around to head back up ice, no goal.

the last goal. Flyers had some life. Hit the post. When the Rangers got the puck i expected them to dump it down the ice safely. Instead they kept cool, regrouped, and countered with structure. And scored! I thought, they wouldnt have even tried that last year. Wow...

BTW Folks, have we done a Scott Arniel appreciation thread yet?

Pierre McGuire was oozing in his praise on both PP goals.

I called a sweep when the score was 1-1...why ?....as i stated when it was happening...It was only what the Rangers were not doing that kept them from being way ahead. The Flyers were doing nothing. The Flyers need major adjustments which they need an off-season to correct. So a Sweep it is...

We're in their heads. Keep the foot on the gas in game two and continue rolling with the momentum. Our depth is such an asset.

I'm just glad he found a way to work with Brassard with their history.
