Don't swallow the whistle ref, this has got to be interference
thanks. sully has had back spasms since last saturday night(actually since the end of the habs game). typically it takes him 3~10 days to get over these. since we are going on day 7+ i would think he is in reality a questionable(but he didn't skate in morning practice saturday). arnott has had the flu so who knows. leggy got hurt last game(kings) with a puck in the wrist and didn't take any shifts at the end. hartnell has a broken ankle and is definitely out. since we are so short up front, even w/a callup from milwaukee, it is probably a guess as to who is least hurt=most likely to dress(even if they don't play a lot). my thinking either sully or arny has to go tonight, even if not 100%. we dressed 7 d-men before leggy got hurt, so we will really be shorthanded going into the pond if our top 4 goal scores are all out. but since we are not the sabres you won't hear anything about that. maybe we should get into a big fight?

I read somewhere that Sully's back was not responding to treatment like it usually does.
Is this not the game for which Coach Trotz said that they will have long memories for and have "taken down some numbers"? I think this may be real interesting.

He said that at the time, but as most of us predicted, now he says he "doesn't expect any of that stuff" because these are two teams "fighting for first place."
The game is also being streamed online by Yahoo Sports. Just a heads up for Preds fans, like myself, outside of the Nashville/FSN South broadcast area.
This should be a good game. Hopefully we get a Moen vs Weber round 2. The Ducks will probably skate Parros just in case Hordichuk decides to exact some revenge. You guys know Scotty Nieds and Pronger but keep an eye for Frankie Beauchemin. He was throwing his body trying to punish the Sharks in the last game so I expect him to do the same against the Preds. The last time these two teams met, the Ducks were going through a kinda funk. This game should be a good measuring test for both teams although you guys are missing some key players. Good Luck.
It stinks because I had circled this game as a good measuring stick...if we were healthy.
Also, you know that the ONLY way Peverley and Abid could have any success would be if they were playing with decent linemates...in a scoring situation. But instead, all four lines will get killed because you'll see Fiddler centering Erat and Kariya and Nichol centering Dumont and Radulov. So you have two week scoring lines and two VERY weak defensive lines.
Maybe we should just goon it up tonight for retribution for the last game, in order to send a message for "future encounters".....and let the 2 points fall where they may, since the chance of us pulling out 2 points tonight have just fallen to slim and none.
why the hell wouldn't they give Segal the Call. Abid is worthless to us after this year. Segal would atleast provide more toughness in what is a rivalry type game. This organization pisses me off sometimes.
the first duck fan that comes on here and tells us "how lucky we are because some 3rd pair dman isn't playing for them tonight" i'm going head hunting after

whoaaaa big boy.
Pour yourself a Single Barrel Jack, sit back, and pretend you are Custard.
I wonder if Forsberg's injury was something minor, given that he did play the entire game last night, and they're worried that it could become major if the Ducks are taking runs at him(which, given last game, I imagine they will be)
