Just clicked on the link but even before you added it in I knew exactly what you were talking about. Horrible. Thank god he was ok and even came back to play.

On a side note...I wonder if he asked the other player if he could keep his skate.

Had a feeling it was Clint, but had never seen a video of it. Now I'm kinda wishing I hadn't seen it... I think lunch is trying to make a repeat appearance.

What goes through your mind at that moment, both as the victim and as a bystander. The two Sabres at the end of the clip are kinda looking at each other like, I don't know what to do, do you?

Crazy.

I knew it was going to be Malarchuk.. I actually watched the video a couple of days ago, and I really don't feel like watching it again, especially after I just ate.. It's just.. really, really scary. Isn't Malarchuk nowadays the goalie coach of the Blue Jackets?

Yeah, I tried to find a picture of it but had no luck. I remember seeing it on eBay last summer... the minimum starting bid was $75.

I hate to use Wikipedia as a source. But when I saw another page on it(which sadly I can't find now) they said he came back a week later.

Amazingly, they're right.

More like scared ****less... I mean, seeing your blood pooring out like that, you really can't think that you're actually going to survive...

Just the thought made me sick...

Not hockey, but it's still one of the scariest sports moments I've ever seen. Keep track of his right leg during the replay.
