Brian Burke old time hockey. He built a team for good regular season rough stuff but coming from behind in games with some of these guys will be interesting. Their specials may be enough though to carry them in the playoffs.
UHHH, the ducks are the most penalized team in the league
In the last two meetings against us, the Ducks have been allowed to board, slash, trip, gang-beat, taunt our bench etc. Granted, us Pred fans view things in yellow/blue glasses, but the lack of penalties is disturbing. One penalty against Moen....whoopty-freaking-do. There could easily be a handful more.
Either way, I would like to see our team stick up for teammates a bit more. As it stands right now, we are having one teammate mauled by 5 Duck players at the same time.
What are you talking about? Anaheim stands up for each other. You got the powerplay, what is the problem?
Sticking up for your guys isn't running Erat and Kariya. If that's the game the Ducks want to play, I'm disappointed if Trotz doesn't have Tootoo, Hordichuk and Vishnevski out trying to run Selanne in the third. There's zero excuse for going after those guys.
Alot of bad karma flowing this thread. No need to throw out scoreboard comments yet...We better pray that Peverely and company can muster up a few more offensive chances or we're done...

Tootoo already took a run, and so did Vishnevski. Everyone is taking runs right now.

that kunitz hit was clean. I dont get why you are complaining.
Static - you can't cover it up, but you can move it as a hand pass. It looked like he moved it around a bit, so I think the officials made the right non-call in this specific instance.
Pronger - My angst is mainly stemming from the two gang meetings at the end of the period, especially the runs the Anaheim players took in the waining seconds. Further, I disagree on the Kunitz hit. It certainly appeared to me that his elbow caught Zanon in the head.

Dumont gets two minutes for roughing for being run and ganged up on by 4 Duck players. Yippee!!!!
The meetings where everyone took shots at everyone? What is wrong with that? In fact, the last one was instigated by a Pred on the forecheck, Anaheim just responded with physicality of their own.
