Gagner? That'll be fine...as long as we see a Dubinsky growth spurt out if him.

Yeah, we have enough smurfs with skill. Gimme a guaranteed 6'1", 195 lb center who can play both ways and dish the puck in the 1st (and hopefully 2nd) round(s) this year. Doesn't have to even be close to a Crosby - I want a guy with size who has the upside to go 30-50-80. In the meantime I'll root for Pyatt, Russell, Helminen, Dawes, Callahan, and even Prucha on the big squad to overcome their size issues.

i like Toronto's line, monster huge..
Sundin (6'5"), Antropov (6'6"), Ponikarovsky (6'4")

Korpikoski (6'1")...Anisimov (6'3")....Hugh (6'6")
Not the same size, but pretty nice..

Looking at the standings-the Flyers,Caps,Kings,Chicago,Phoenix and Columbus are going to pick in the top 6.All of those teams have 60 or less points

From the remaining current non-playoff teams-the Rangers,Florida,Boston,Montreal,Toronto,Edmonton,B lues and Colorado are separated by 6 points.None of those west teams are making the playoffs. The Rangers could pick at high at #7 and as low as #16.Barring a collapse,Buffalo,Jersey,TB,Atlanta,Ottawa and Pitt are making the playoffs

Well Gagner is the best available if he falls to 12, if he pans out better than Prucha, Dawes etc and you don't like having small skillfull guys you trade Dawes or Prucha.

Regarding the draft,I want Nashville to finish with the top record in the NHL but they lose in the first round of the playoffs. The Flyers would get #29 with the Cup winner getting #30.The two Blues first round picks acquired from Atlanta and San Jose(Devils pick)are in the last 6-7 picks with Atlanta and Jersey winning their divisions.Love JD but can't stand Dave Checketts. The Islanders miss the playoffs and Edmonton gets a pick between #10-14
