Murray has came out and said Giggy is not available, and said the rumors were erroneous, no way in hell did he even dream of saying that. Anaheim is only offering players outside the core.
I doubt they get Kolzig and Gonchar as they are looking for a backup to Esche, thus Burke makes the most sense and perhaps they are throiwn in a defenceman in the likes of one David Tanabe... would be interesting but unlikely.

Hmmm, interesting, but no. The caps don't need to trade Kolzig or Gonchar really, after they have ridden themselves of Jagr. But if they did, I kind of think that they could get a little more for Gonchar. However, maybe they just want to get rid of the salaries, who knows.

I would most likely die if we got Sergei Gonchar. What a great addition he'd be to our offense, defense, power play, etc. Then and ONLY then would I say that we could compete with the Sens/Devils.
Kolzig's best days are behind him...he does have a run to the finals already but...come on.
But I'm really disapointed with how a growing number of people who want to cash in Mike Comrie for all we can get right now (ok, at least this thread has a good dividend). Comrie is at a young age, and can only get better with more ice time as Roenick and Primeau age. We WILL be sorry if we trade off Mike Comrie.
OK...Gonchar/Kolzig from the Caps available, also JS Giguere, were gonna need a good player to get them...guys I hate to break it to you, a lot of the Flyer posters will be mad at me for this, but the name you will start to hear is Simon Gagne.
