why is artus irbe leaving your team? what is your info about it?
he said that he want to play in better league... is that true?
or it is because of is performance....
he sign with Nitra (Slovakia)

Irbe was only signed for the final games of the regular season and the playoffs last year. Salzburg brought in Reinhard Divis (former St. Louis Blue) to be their starter this season...

Arturs left Salzburg at the end of the last season since he occupied a "foreigner spot" (in the Austrian league there are only 6 Non-Austrians allowed). His substitute is Austrian National-Team Goalkeeper Reinhard Divis who came from the St. Louis Blues. It was also rumoured that Irbe was too expensive, which I don't believe as Salzburg pays very high salaries. He was highly respected by the Salzburg-crowd and there are many fans who would like to see him back with the Red Bulls.
