I know it has been a lot of about Datsyuk, but I think about Lidstrom. I think he has to step up and carries this team. He is the best player, probably in the league and I think he has to do something special if the team hits the wall.

I think as long as Dats plays on Hank's line, I'm not too worried about him. I want to see Lang and the second line carry its weight.

Uh, how about everyone?

That's what players/teams do in the playoffs...

You've all been riding Pasha since time immemorial... he's not the only one. How about Lang, Cleary, Draper, Maltby, Schneider, Holmstrom, Zetterberg, Lidstrom...in other words, the whole team? It takes more than one dog to pull the sled you know.

Everyone have to be ready to play more physical. But I hope that Franzen,Homer,Bertuzzi and Kronwall will give nice hits.

That was my first thought, too. Obviously we would all like to see Pasha work his regular season magic in the playoffs, but everyone needs to step things up. When I think of the great Wings teams in the 90's, I remember guys like Lapointe and Kocur getting timely goals to spur the team on. Everyone needs to step it up.

As far as stepping it up right now? That would be Schneider and Lang.

Everybody should. But for Detroit to succeed, at least a few people have to. If Detroit's power play hadn't sucked so much in the last three playoff years, Detroit probably would have won at least a few more games.

I'm as big a Datsyuk fan as anyone, but i'm really hoping he steps it up.

The biggest thing for me with him, is play with some passion and skate. When he decides to skate and looks to make things happen instead of standing around waiting for things to happen, i see no reason why he can't succeed in postseason play. I have a gut feeling that him and Zetterberg and Homer are going to have a great playoffs and finally shut up the critics this go around. And when game 1 of round 1 comes around, the first thing i'm going to be looking at is how hard is Pavel skating.

And i'd love to see him show some emotion for goals in the playoffs. Don't be affraid to raise your hands in a short celebration.

If I have to pick just one it's Bertuzzi, hands down. While we didn't give up that much to get him, he was acquired to push us over the top, and hopefullly he will.

He's starting to show some emotions a bit...I know before it was like "ho hum, it's just part of my job"...but the real Pasha is starting to come out of his shell.

The obvious choices are Zšta and Datsyuk. Lang should definitely be able to raise his game a notch.

Wouldn`t worry about Kronwall. That guy can have a meanstreak. If you watch him in games that are important, he gives it all.
