Subban is a defensive train wreck and is due to be very expensive. Recipe for a slightly better Letang.

I thought the Rangers post-game discussion was quite reasonable as a whole. I don't agree with blaming Lundqvist, but many gave props to the Flyers for digging in their heels and playing an aggressive, defensively sound game after going down 2-0.

A whole lot of emo, too. Just like here after a loss.

I think their standards for goaltending have been skewed by watching Lundqvist for so long.

In other news, Voracek's goal is probably the best of his career. He powered through McD, a very good dman who made the right play, to beat freaking Lundqvist. He was not to be denied.

It just blew me away that some were on about Lundqvist having a history of being crap in the playoffs, and something along the lines of "it's not a question of if Lundqvist will fail but when". Man, Henrik is an all-world goalie who has carried the Rangers during many seasons. I guess it's just Flyer-fan levels of fickleness.

I would much rather have him than Letang, even at 8/64. Him and Coburn would be a dominant ES pairing.

I'm not saying trade for him or offersheet him, not with Pronger still on the books. But I think he'd be great here.

They've got it backwards. Lundqvist did everything to carry his team and they failed him.

I loved when they showed the Flyers bench after the Rangers took a 2-0 lead and Voracek was motioning to everyone to settle down. Seems like a great leader and teammate.

I get mad at my dad every time he says the Flyers should get rid of him.

I missed this. Was it immediately after the second goal?

Rangers fans have been arrogant a lot longer than Penguins fans. After all, a lot of them are Yankees fans too.
