Above all else I think we need to stay out of the penalty box.

Besides that I'm hoping this is a great game. Cmon guys, get a win!

agreed. the wings called-up bootland(PIM - 185, #6 in the AHL) for tonights game. think he might try to start something?

if we are going to get one at their place, now would be the time. we are slightly less wounded than the wings.

One more thing. Tried to get tickets to this one. Damn. Never realised how hard that is in Detroit.

Great GDT!

I predict a VERY physical game. Best chance for Wings will be to go after our guys coming back after injury. We will need to have our 3rd and 4th liners really step it up. Looks like we get two of our centers back. Leggy back on first line - or Arnott?

the game plan is simple: make them skate 5 on 5.

there is no reason for us to lose this game tonight.

Man, look at that injury list for both teams. Sucks the life out of the game a bit.

I agree, we cannot take penalties tonight. If we take too many, Detroit will burn us on the PP. We also have to establish the lead early. We cannot afford to be behind in this game.

The City Paper says:

INJURY UPDATE: Right wing Steve Sullivan is not expected to be ready for the Detroit game. Center Jason Arnott, who was held out of the Anaheim game Sunday as a precautionary measure due to flu symptoms should be ready to go. Center Peter Forsberg is considered doubtful with an upper-body injury, while center David Legwand is probable.

Ozzie looked like a pylon in the last Wings game, hopefully he keeps up that stellar play and the Preds light the lamp repeatedly

The Titanssean said the same thing this morning. It will def. be nice to have arnott and leggy back. Having Fiddler as our #1 center makes me cringe (even if it gives trotz a chubby).

Here's to an injury-free game! I'm amazed at how quickly a healthy team can become an injury-riddled team.

On paper, we had no business keeping up with Anaheim the other night... maybe with Legwand & Arnott back tonight we can light the lamp more than once or twice.

Hurry back Sully & Foppa!

agreed ... I'm tired of looking everyday in the paper online or otherwise and seeing someone new going down with something ... but it is that time of year, I guess

I'll bet we see everyone back except Sully. If Foppa can't go, I'd like to see a little more Peverley on the 3rd line. From what little I saw, I thought he played well against the Ducks.

Hopefully, we have both Arnott and Leggy back. It will be a good game to watch as it is in HD. Hockey in HD, is there another sport to match it?
