Maybe we can ask the Rangers to wear black next game in exchange for a 1 goal lead

I don't feel like effort really is the issue here. The talent is just not good enough.

Whatever it is, it's pissing me the **** off. The PP needs to be better and the puck needs to be moved quicker IMO.

Jake gets lowest ice time, after he fought I thought he would play the rest of the game ?

Mase was healthy , he was saying the right things before to be a good team mate, Berube needed to use his brain and started his best goalie, all on the coach

Everyone crying about Brayden Schenn, Couturier having a quiet game, Read looking crappy, doesn't actually understand what went wrong in this game. Not capitalizing on the power plays, or even generating any kind of threat or momentum off of them is what killed us. You can't expect to have continued success in this match up 5on5. It's not going to happen.

Lecavalier and Schenn are completely useless, read is gone, Hartnell is an idiot and the defense is too slow to contain counter rushes.
What makes you say that? The effort is there. The execution isn't

this team needs a coach that will kick your ass to the press box if u decide you wanna take a night off... this is the big leagues.

to many guys on this team just mail in stupid efforts then go right back out for next shift/game like its nothing...
No, not Torts. His system is terrible for this roster, just look at Vancouver.

So Mason was on the couch? Never practiced? The healthy, better player starts every time. I don't care what happened yesterday or three weeks ago. I'd rather go down with my starter than my backup. And if Mason let it a few clunkers because of rust, I would've defended Berube's decision to start him.

I know that is crazy. I don't understand why we would not want to give our top players the best chance to score.

You also can't expect to win a series based on PPs.

There's certainly some truth to this.

There's also a lot of truth in the fact that rarely in a best of 7 battle between two evenly matched teams can you afford to just toss away a game... And that's precisely what Berube did tonight.

We outplayed the Rags this game , our coached decisions lost us the game, it's pretty simple.

Highly presumptuous, not what I said at all. This team obviously can't figure out what to do 5 on 5 against the Rangers. Even with home ice and match up advantages. So if you're not going to figure it out on the PP, then when?

In an ideal world, Schenn and Vinny would have their TOI slashed dramatically.

But, we have a coach who won't do that and a back to back that makes it difficult to lean on players without having them gassed the next day.

Him & Hartnell are holding Voracek back at this point.

Voracek's playing at 100MPH right now.

bad example... Vancouver is to used to being soft as slush...

take more then 1 season with that stale old roster to make a change..

i bet Torts Canucks are WAYYYY different this year coming up.

my bet is all the soft players in teh canucks dressing room are traded this off season.

The powerplay definitely needs to come through with that many opportunities, but we need more quality even strength chances too.

Most of all though we just need Emery out of that net. We could play a 1-1 game with Mason in net, but Emery lost the game for us tonight. One goal should be enough to atleast get to OT in the playoffs. 10 GA in 3 games is too many, and wayyy too many of those were on Emery.

It's the latter of the two.

The Rangers are always quick to double-team him and play against him extremely well. Also, Vigneault is coaching them a lot better than Berube is coaching the Flyers and is making sure Giroux is never mismatched on the ice.

They're not letting him see any light. They're putting their 100% on him and it's working.
