OT: I'm ok!

Some of you may have noticed I've been on edge the past 2 weeks. That's because I was waiting for some medical test results and I've been worried about them.

Well, unfortunately for some of you, I'm going to be just fine. What I have is not serious and I will recover fully.

What I have is Bell's Palsy, which is what Jean Chretien has. He had a more serious case that did not go away, but mine will. Normally this isn't a big deal, but because of something I had some time ago, there was I chance that what I have is something more serious and long-term.

But it's not, so I'm ok.

First off congrats on your clean bill of health waffledave. Waiting to hear medical test results can be hard on the nerves.

But now that you are ok, does that mean that you are going to lose that bit of edge that you had over the last few weeks?

I hope not,

Well I don't know about that, I'm pretty sure I've always had some edge regardless.

Thanks everyone. I'm just in such a great mood now, I feel so good.

I'm relieved for you.
Are you still with the eye patch? Are you taking more pictures to show the progress?
What causes it and what precautions will you have to take?

I don't have to wear the eye patch anymore because the paralysis is starting to fade and I can close my eyes now. No point in taking pictures, I look pretty much normal again.

The cause is unknown, it can be from lots of stuff from just a flu to an ear infection to herpes. I hope it's not herpes. That would suck.

Hey, I am really happy for you. While we don't agree most of the times, in no way would I be happy to ear someone being sick. We don't agree, but those are only opinions. Opinions are not human beings. I hope you think the same.

Do you know what causes Bell's Palsy by the way? I tought it was due to hearth attack and regions of the brain that underwent necrosis, but I guess this assumption is all wrong. thanks.

There was a concern that it was due to a me suffering a minor stroke, but the tests show it is not the case.

Bell's Palsy is caused by an inflammation in the ear canal that pushes up against your facial nerve, which is connected to alot of things. That's why you can often get it from an ear infection.

Or herpes. ****.

Bell's Palsy is something that wrestling announcer Jim Ross also has, for the initiated...
