I was feeling sorry for the Preds with all their injuries, but damn I think the Wings have it worse than Nashville ever did.....

Top 3 goal scorers out, and none of the guys left have 20 goals yet this season.
4 of the 6 forwards on the top 2 lines out.
4 AHL callups, including Darryl Bootland.
Hasek out again and Chris "Score Me 4" Osgood in net.

.....is it too late to ask for a quick death? Bury us early so I don't feel the need to watch too long.

I sure hope you meant <10 min. and not >10 mins. seeing tootoo get over 10 minutes makes me ill. he is one of the worst hockey players on the team.

This is going to be a strange game. You guys have your share of injuries and the Wings have an absolute slew of em. Hasek, Bertuzzi, Samuelsson, Holmstrom, Zetterberg, Cleary and possibly Chelios.

Big game even without alot of the big names though. These 2 points are still important.

Lets just hope both teams come out unscathed at this point.

This game could really be the difference between a 1 or 4 seed in the playoffs.

Because of the injuries on both sides, I don't think that they'll make or break either squad in the game.Whichever team wins this game is going to build a ton of momentum.

If the Predators can pull this one off, it would equal an incredibly successful road trip not mention solidifying themselves atop the league standings.

It's going to be a close, nasty, physical, gritty game regardless.

Who wants it more?

Forsberg not playing or should I stay up and watch the game? I really need to get some studying done tomorrow.

Predator Vs. Red Wing games are always worth watching.

These two teams hate each other.

In a way, while I really would like to win the division...

How much can we really look forward to a potential first round matchup against Minnesota, a team that's shown it knows how to neutralize our style throughout the year?

I for sure don't want to run into Minnesota. We'd have a hard time beating them imo. However, if we don't win we could end up facing a Dallas or San Jose. It won't be easy in the playoffs no matter which way we cut it, but Minnesota have our number for sure.

i'm not arguing that Forsberg will play, but looking at this...it's not what I'd call a reliable source. This reads like an extremely biased fansite.

Its from Kulfan they have got the news from. But it sound that his article is just based on that Forsberg was doubtful and Kulfan has decided to rule him out of the game.

Ted Kulfan / The Detroit News

DETROIT -- The Nashville Predators will be without the services of center Peter Forsberg when they visit the Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena Tuesday night at 7:30. Forsberg has an upper-body injury.

Kinda ominous that Pete and Terry are having technical difficulties already. Please lets hope they fix that before the puck drops.
