This is about 1000X more likely than Bylsma benching Adams.

As much as I'm okay with losing if it get Bylsma canned and some of the dead weight jettisoned I still want the Penguins to prove me wrong and play a great game.

I assume she means that he was never placed on IR but is off the injured list on the website?

Either way... why is this lady a professional sports journalist sporting years and years of tenure?

Vitale is a guy who literally had 2 game changing shifts. It would sicken me - but you are right. He'd sit.

The Cult of Vitale creeps me out a little bit, sometimes. But even I agree that he was pretty crucial, last game. Scratching him now would make very little sense. Even for these guys.

Too many options, Cole!

Vitale is screwed, doesn't have young legs OR experience!

Would be awesome to get Goc and Gibbons back. I know I am dreaming but imagine this lineup

Kunitz-Crosby-Stempniak
Jokinen-Malkin-Neal
Bennett-Sutter-Megna
Vitale-Goc-Gibbons

Sadly with a healthy Gibbons and Goc we should be looking at a bottom six of

Goc-Sutter-Bennett
Gibbons-Vitale-Megna

Of course you can remove Vitale and Megna and insert GLADAMSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

Speed has been the one thing that kills Columbus. The tape has to show Gibby and Vitale being two strong components of speed. How can DB not see this and take out Glass/Adams for the likes of Goc/Vitale/Megna?

They watch their own tape as well as keeping their own stats, evidently.

I'm going to guess it's a beat-to-**** VHS of old episodes of The Gong Show. Maybe Stooges.

Because Glass and Adams are like his children, the other ones are a threat to his children.

I updated the Forward lineups based on the tweets.

PP units remain the same.

Not hearing anything yet about D. Can I assume it's remaining the same as last game?

It's really hard to believe that idiots like Shelly Anderson have a job. The bar for professionalism, integrity, heck, even accuracy is *so* low for her, yet she *still* proves to be woefully incompetent/incapable of her job...practically on a daily basis.

I've learned that the people who stay quiet, don't cause a stir, and just do what is asked of them will forever have a job. I just flat out don't work like that. I don't believe in that method.

But if you think about it, she fits that bill.

Maybe some momentum will carry over into tonight. Last game I wanted to see that the players still cared, and many of them played well. Not all, but certainly more than the games previous.

I hope we see a 60 minute game out of them before the playoffs are over. Last game seemed like a step in the right direction, even if it was scary. We know the Jackets will come out like they were shot out of a... never mind. They'll take a haymaker swing at the Pens again early, hopefully this time it doesn't connect.

Let's go Pens.

I suppose so. Although, in the case of lowbrow journalism (no offense meant to the profession, I'd gladly take her job), you'd think the publication would be happy with whom/whatever generates the most clicks. I can honestly say that I've never actually clicked on something published by Anderson, I only see snippets of her stuff here on HF.

You'd think there'd be pent up demand for somebody who can actually logically assess the team and the game. Mark my words, sooner or later some stats guru is going to take the hockey world by storm, first as a journalist and later as a hockey exec.

Heh. I find it's damaging to the brainpan to think too much about anything S.Anderson writes. Trying to interpret her IR comment just a minute ago nearly broke my mind.

Obviously Cole is right, though. Toe the line and all is well.

But hey... that's why this place is great. I'd rather read what 60-70% of this board has to say about the team than any of the "professional" shills.
