Isn't there a Murray State basketball game for you to watch or something?

How in the world do you fail to show up for one of the biggest games of the season? Detroit beats us to every single puck. There are two Wings on us every time we touch the puck and we cough it up. This is embarrassing to watch.

I am all for staying positive but i can't hide my disappointment in the preds right now. As stranger said to not show up in a vital game is just pathetic. where is the determination to get to the puck. Geez.

agreed. we look downright apathetic. but this road trip has been good and we're only down by a goal, we could come back and win 6-3 like against the kings, you never know.

I like the optimism, but its unlikely against the Wings with their stellar defense. They'll put the choke hold on us now. But with this effort, it wouldn't matter who we were playing.

The only positive is that we aren't down by more than 4 goals.

Zidlicky sustains an upperbody injury, will not return. Arnott hurt his wrist, and Kariya just hobbled off the ice after being hit with a slapshot. And Nichol has already gone to the dressing room with a broken finger. Not a good night.

The Red Wings primary goal in this game has been to injure our players... mission accomplished so far (Nichol, Zidlicky, etc)

Yeah, the Wings are known for that kind of stuff.

Seriously...this is untrue. Injuries happen, take a look at both of the teams playing tonight.

But since you want to insinuate, what did you think of Arnott's direct elbow to Lebda's head? I guess that was OK in your book.

Be fair man, dont be such a homer.

Yeah, I'm sure whoever did it was aiming right for Nichol's finger! Give me a break.

The only good news coming out of all this is Zidlicky's injury.

Yeah I hate to say it, but I Zidlicky has been awful for a long time on D. I don't want to ever see him out on the ice unless it's on the PP. Even that's pushing it.

Our team is better with Zanon in there.
