You'll see. It's another position we'll have to plug with a 20 year old kid. Scott had an amazing game against anaheim

most everyone agreed that he played very well against ANA. Atleast he tries, half our players dont have any heart.

To clarify, Pete and Terry said it was his thumb and that is important since if it was another finger he might have been able to splint/tape it up and play (Handtrick?), however because it is his thumb...this is a serious injury that will probably see him out of the lineup for the rest of the regular season depending on the severity (Handtrick...where are you?).

As to the comments that this benefits the Club in any way...you are all full of it. Nichol is a key faceoff man for our team (third in the league) and a vital member of the PK unit as well as our top energy line centerman. In addition he is contributes in the locker room and on the ice in the leadership department as evidenced by him wearing an "A" the past two games while Arnott was out with the flu.

Nichol will be missed over the final 14 games of the regular season. I expect Peverley to be given a longer look, but if necessary we will probably see Leahy be recalled if we wanted to go with more of an experienced winger that can play on the PK.

this is a post in poor taste. this guy has been an asset. a guy that has contributed to this team beyond his raw ability level. he has arguably been our best pk'er forward for the last 50 games, an improved pk that has contributed significantly to many victories.

what's more, while he's not a top three line center by any stretch of the imagination, he's done that role as well as could be asked when forced upon him..

and then in my opinion, he's the best even strength fourth line centerman on this team..

add in the fact, he's been one of the best faceoff men in the league, and how he's been very valuable to come on and take draws in the defensive end when legwand's line is out there.

i just don't get why any predator fan that knows anything about this team would make such a bad comment.

Does anyone else feel like that if this slash had been given to Sidney Crosby (Or any other star) that Schneider would probably be facing a suspension?

at the very least they could have given the guy a penalty, especially after some of the tacky stuff that was called last night.

Anyone else seem eager to see with Vishnievski can do with some playing time?

At the worst, we get bigger on the back end.

It was Lebda, according to Nichol

Nichol said he took a two-handed slash to his hand from Detroit defenseman Brett Lebda near the end of the first period. No penalty was called on the play.
Just trying to set the facts straight.
