Lmao I hardly think G saying " we're going to win game 4 and go back to New York tied" is a guarantee lol. If that's the case players guarantee a win everyday.

With the Oshawa Generals being eliminated, would it be a good idea to bring up Laughton? I for one would try it out but that's just my opinion. I think Raffl was a little rough last game. Maybe some youthful enthusiasm would help a bit. I feel the players don't seem to be too worried yet as they have been doing this all year. Coming back from adversity. Maybe have B. Schenn benched a shift or 2 so he realizes that he needs to be a bit better. Wish I had all the answers. Having said all that, I still believe in this group and until the final buzzer sounds on a 4th loss, I will have faith!!! GO FLYERS!!!!!!!!!

I haven't been to a game in Philadelphia yet. I have seen them play in the playoffs in Toronto tho. At home, are the games that great to be at? The atmostphere from watching on TV looks incredible.

Eh usually that's more than what players say. That's all he said about making the playoffs and that's been made a big deal.

If St. Louis can take over and rebound then G really needs to

Change up the PP and I think we'll win. Timonen needs to move the puck to Voracek when he gets it from Giroux instead of playing catch. I also think they need Giroux and Voracek to drive towards the net and fling some low wristers/snap shots at Lundqvist. Let that cause some havoc around the crease with Hartnell and Simmonds. The slapshots and one timers take too long to develop and allow people in shooting lanes. If they drive towards the net they'll get people moving.

I agree, but I think Kimmo needs to be taken off the first unit. He's been terrible on the point there, in fact he's been one of our worst players this series. Everyone knows he's just going to play catch with G or fire a weak shot that misses the net or gets blocked. I want to see Streit on the first unit, he's good at walking the puck on the blue line and finding seams, and that shot is beastly of course.

I don't understand why we never gave Voracek the puck on our powerplays the last game, everything was blocked from G/Kimmo's side, Voracek had half the ice open, but never got the puck. Frustrating to say the least.

G needs to score though, 2 secondary assists isn't going to cut it. He seem like he's pressing at times like he was at the beginning of the season. Hoping for one of his patented no-look wristers this game.

Sounds like Mason in, hopefully the team plays the kind of defense like they did to keep the lead in Game 2 for the whole game. Getting Mason's confidence up could be huge going forward in the series.

Stay positive and go out there and play hard. If the confidence is still there this series is not anywhere near being close to done. Take it 2-2 back to New York and then it's a new ball game. We should all try to be optimists instead of pessimists around here for a change. Don't get to down after a goal against but don't get to up for a goal for. Just keep the puck in front of you and play the system. It got us to the playoffs and it can take us further, they need to execute.

I would call up Laughton but give him Rinaldo's spot. If they aren't going to let Zac run in there and knock a few people around because they're afraid of a penalty then it's really stupid to put him out there at all.

I totally agree. At least Laughton won't have the stigma attached to him

I actually wish we would change up the lines a bit and put Raffl back at LW with Schenn at C and Simmonds at RW, and move Lecavalier back to 4th line C. I don't think Vinny has been very good, and Raffl seems better to me at LW than at C.

Raffl hasn't really shown anything at all this series. he had a 3 on 1 and totally flubbed it. he's been getting hit hard too.

And yet that's still tied for the team lead in points.
