Miracle

I went to see the sneak preview of Miracle tonight and let me say it was awesome.
Kurt Russell did a fabulous job portraying the late great Herb Brooks.
It was quite possibly his finest performance.
The only thing that I thought was strange was, I thought Neil Broten was a bigger part of the team than they made him out to be in the movie.
I highly recommend any sports movie fans out there to go check it out cause it's a instant classic in my book.

From what I've heard Broten wasn't a huge part, he had probably the best NHL career of the team but he was one of the younger players on the team so...

I obviously am pumped for this movie though

I remember Eurruzioni (sp?) retired following the olympics correct?

Was he considered a solid prospect back then? What is his story?

The type of player they made Jack O'Callahan out to be , I'm really shocked he didn't get drafted until the 5th round.

It's good that this movie is made, hopefully it'll get more people into hockey all over America, since most people only care about football, it seems.

Very good movie . .. I went to see a sneak preview of it like 3 or 4 weeks ago . . . the only thing that I really didn't like about the movie was the fact that they kind of changed a few things to make the movie have more drama in it . . . also . . .I didn't like the fact that spent so little time on the gold medal game itself . .sure beating Russia was a big deal . . .but at the end of the movie it kind of seemed to me that they said " Oh yeah . . .after beating Russia they went on to win the gold medal game " . . . the needed to include more of that game and what went into that game instead of just having it as an after thought

If this movie becomes a major box office hit, does anyone think it will bring more recognition to the sport of hockey?

Awesome movie. They made Craig look god-like though. O'Callahan's hit on I think it was Krutov in the movie was massive. Who played Mikhailov in the movie?

Yeah, O'Callahan was my favorite player on that team after that movie.
I was surprised the type of player they made him out to be that he lasted until the 5th rd. of the draft.
Can anyone tell me how he faired in his NHL career because that was a year or two before I became obsessed with hockey and I don't really remember him?

I think Sasha Lakovic played Mikhailov but I'm not 100% sure on that. It sure did look like him
