"We just have to win enough," Rangers coach Tom Renney said. "We've had our eye on a certain number for weeks."
Quote:
"We wanted to shoot the most pucks we could at the net," Rangers forward Jaromir Jagr said. "Hopefully we are going to score some ugly goals. It didn't happen but maybe next game. He has to be tired after 50 shots."
And while we're at it, an awesome 1994 cup tribute video I found for our NYR :

KingHenrik35 and I will be in 333. A guy at work said I should go to the bar in the Hotel across the street. I think it's a Hilton, not sure though. Anyone ever done this before? He's an Islanders fan, and I've never been to the Colliseum. Anyone ever been? Is it going to be all Isles fans,or pretty much 50/50 like the game?

They have to keep the pressure on and not let go of the gas pedal and they will be just fine. They are a much more talented team than the Islanders, they showed on Monday night that without their goaltender, the Isles had no busines on that ice.

Youre only as good as your last game and they have to make Monday night stick with a body blow to the Islanders tonight.

I was getting ridiculously amped on the way to work today, i flipped on Q104.3 just as i got on the turnpike - "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins came on and for once in about 2 weeks there was no traffic so i could actually shift my Mazda into Manual Triptonic mode.

While I listened to the song I couldn't help but think of what Dubinsky is feeling right now.

I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord
Ive been waiting for this moment, all my life, oh lord
Can you feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord, oh lord

Well, if you told me you were drowning
I would not lend a hand
Ive seen your face before my friend
But I dont know if you know who I am

Well, I was there and I saw what you did
I saw it with my own two eyes
So you can wipe off the grin, I know where youve been
Its all been a pack of lies

And I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord
Ive been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh lord
I can feel it in the air tonight, oh lord, oh lord
And Ive been waiting for this moment all my life, oh lord, oh lord

Well I remember, I remember dont worry
How could I ever forget, its the first time, the last time we ever met

But I know the reason why you keep your silence up, no you dont fool me
The hurt doesnt show; but the pain still grows
Its no stranger to you or me

And I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord...

Probably some of that. This is a huge game and Brandon's gonna get second line minutes.
I think he'll do well. Correct me if i'm wrong but didn't he score a goal in the Colliseum in pre-season? Good move by Renney.

Good luck 54 - go get'em.

I'm so pumped for this game it's rediculous. I need to avoid people today or I'll just wind up punching them randomly.

No way DP steals a point a second time if we play as hard as we did on Monday. Go Rangers!!

There is a boat load of tix available on ticket master, but since when did the Islanders tix get so freaking expensive. $120/ticket for the 200's? I wanted to go tonight but being the college student that I am, I do not think I can swing it...blah..can't wait to start working...haha

Not saying the Isles are a bad team or anything but the other night was proof that they live and die with Di`Pie.

.mmmm

oh, sorry.

But yeah, in that quote you have up there toots, we can all assume the same thing will happen tonight. Let's just hope that whoever starts producing doesn't get hurt again *knocks on wood....multiple times*

And don't forget for those of you who can't get video, where ever you are, yahoo is streaming it.
