There was no reason to expect a pass, Coburn should've just taken the puck deep or tried to knock it back into the neutral zone. A pass to Gill was literally the worst option, and that was the worst pass possible, right into Gill's feet where he can't keep track with the Ranger closing in.

Schenn can make those passes on the PP when no one is near him. Otherwise, he looks indecisive and slow. Schenn really is only effective when hes near the crease like Simmonds. He isnt good enough to be anything but a gritty Goal scorer.

Basically, the Flyers need the powerplay to work to win (if they get them in the period). Schenn needs to do the simple things and so does Vinny.

Well we have forwards that should be taking risks since we have like three total forwards I'd consider great defensively and D that can't really take risks except for Streit. Gustafsson doesn't exist so he doesn't count.

Not a very cohesive team identity there.

So, basically why is he talking? That's how he always is.

that's what people do here. People would be complaining about how someone lifts the cup.

Hopefully Schenn ramming his head into the boards has lodged his brain back into place. Maybe he has just gained some immense hockey IQ

That Moore goal was a pathetic goal to concede. Blame is equally on Coburn and Gill. The majority of the team has done a disappearing act. Is it bad that I'd rather see 5 on 5 than another PP?

Why does ONE assist most other players would have made absolve a player of tons of bone headed plays?

No, critical thinking shows that we really lack D who can move the puck well and handle it well in the offensive zone and also says that Gustafsson is at least one of our three best D at that on paper. Critical thinking also says that Grossmann and Gill are really similar players that are very limited in what they can do.

Or you can act like you don't know what I'm talking about and pick a fight. If you want. Very moderately I guess.

What do you think Berube says during the intermission?

Rip into them, or just says, Hey we gotta play better?

Coburn did not give Gill a good pass, but someone with even a smidge of puck handling ability doesn't get caught handcuffed by it.

Guys, please don't hold me to this, but I feel Vinny does something more in this game. Don't get me wrong, the guy is clueless, but sometimes there's a spark. Could be today.

Also. Massively disappointed in Giroux. He's choking, there's no way of sugar coating it. Hartnell is even worse than usual. Raffl w/ G and Voracek v.2.0? I'd do it.
