How many prime scoring chances did the Rags miss? 1-2?
Indeed.

I think it's also painfully clear that Gill can't be playing next game. 12 minutes of ice time and was a minus 2. No one expects him to capitalize on that glorious opportunity because we know better but you'd expect him to actually be able to defend a bit.

Whatever, take care at home and get another crack at MSG. Hopefully that goal gets him going because this team simply can't succeed when he's not going.

Yea there's no way he's back in. Two horrible choice that berube has made that have cost us. You don't go to vets Everytime.

No team wanted Gil , our coach WANTS him in the playoffs , who is right ?

Here's a clue, it doesn't rhyme with Cabooby.

Maybe we should use reverse psychology on Berube? He was an enforcer that did things people didn't like, maybe if we tell him to play Rinaldo he won't?!?!? **** I hate this team sometimes

Coburn and Schenn have looked our two best D in the series, yet they played the least on our D men in this game. (I am pretending Hal Gill does not exist...)

If you think the flyers lost because of Gil you need to reevaluate how you evaluate

I'd agree with this. We controlled the majority of the game, possession wise. Hartnell had an empty net, too, that he got hauled down on. Our PP was godawful though.

It's always so frustrating to watch the 1-2-2 in a losing game. It just kills us.

You can add Read and Giroux to that list as well.

Zac does absolutely zero and yet Chief keeps throwing him out there. He's in there to hit and isn't even doing that so why exactly is he playing?

Amazing they had a chance to tie there at the end, considering nearly every Flyer played a terrible game.

Just too soft on the forecheck and the Rangers out numbered them on puck battles all game.

At least Giroux scored. I think.

I don't have the exact stat but it's been put there before, the Rangers have been terrible building off wins in the playoffs recently so I fully expect the Flyers to win next game & lose Game 7.

The rangers are not some great team. Any team can come in and beat them IMO. You just have to be quick with the passes, capitalize on wide open net chances, and don't be so dumb with the puck.

Why not Laughton or McGinn instead of Rinaldo?

Gus needs to be in over Gill.

But 5v5 they did fine. The Rangers are a superior possession team 5v5 and the Flyers have basically broken even through 5 games.

He does do a great job of sitting on the bench looking like a Godfather extra in hockey gear...

I think Chief can be a good coach but he's just making so many stupid lineup decisions and his ice time management is atrocious.
