this game more than any other this season will be an indicator of the true character of this team. last game was the greatest work effort and desperation i've seen, if this team shows us that 2 games in a row against their bitter rival, then i truly believe this team will make the playoffs. show us how much you want it boys!

It's fan appreciation night for the Philadelphia Flyers and I have to work the entire game!!! I am not pleased that I'm going to miss this game... However I will try and sneak off when I can to log onto a computer and catch the game through the yahoo feed! THIS IS HUGE!!!!!!

The injuries certainly don't help us here but if we fire the puck at the net like we did last game, there's no chance in hell only 1 goal gets by! LETS DO THIS RANGERS!!!!!!

So the "much more talented team" is thus far 1-4 against the "less talented team" with their one winning coming in a shootout. With the "more talented team" being outscored 19-11 in those games.

Agreed completely. This is an entirely different team, you could say.

A win tonight cuppled with Toronto and Montreal loses put the Rangers into a 3 way tie for 8th place, but would control the 8th spot because they would have more wins then Toronto and less loses then Carolina. Still with games in hand on all the team around them.

Let's Go Rangers!

a win tonight and on Sunday are a MUST. I would settle with an OT loss sat night against Der Bingle and the Pens.

lets hope we win and no one gets hurt tonight. I predict 4-2 Rangers win. Goals for Rangers: Straka, Isbister, Girardi and Prucha (EN).

Its not bad, but its a Marriot. And it wont be 50/50 and neither will the game my friend. Probably like 70 30 like last time.

As far as I know I heard there were about 800 tickets left for tonight. Now you know one of the reaons why the Isles have trouble with attendance. 120$ is retarded.

The islander management likes to bilk their fans. Even in the worse sections, they jack up the prices for teams that draw well. I know someone who goes to Hofstra, and when they try to go to games, the more popular games, tixx are always thru the roof, and he then is also not allowed to use his student discount (which he can use for other games)

Ideally Renney's got to open the game with the same tempo setting line he did on Monday. Don't show any mercy, hit everything you see, fire the kitchen sink at the net. DiPietro can't come up that big two meetings in a row. No way. Give 'em some shock and awe like Monday and I see another two points in the Rangers future.

The Isles team is pretty different also. DP is playing better than ever and we've added Smyth, Zednik and Bergeron. A non-existent power player has become very good. We're also adding Yashin back tonight. Let's not judge the the talent of these two teams based on one game. The Rangers were clearly the hungry team Monday. If they dominate again today, then you can talk, but until then, Monday was just one game. If you look on paper, the Isles are actually very talented now (although their defense can use some upgrading).

That wasn't meant as an insult, I just always thought it was pretty split in Nassau.

Yeah, and we are without Straka, Shanahan, Hossa and Tyutin.

It will be have to be a dogfight again if we are to comeaway with 2 pts.

Dubinsky is a center correct? How about Liffiton. I know he is a dman but what kind of game does he play physical, finesse, both?
