this game more than any other this season will be an indicator of the true character of this team. last game was the greatest work effort and desperation i've seen, if this team shows us that 2 games in a row against their bitter rival, then i truly believe this team will make the playoffs. show us how much you want it boys!
It's fan appreciation night for the Philadelphia Flyers and I have to work the entire game!!! I am not pleased that I'm going to miss this game... However I will try and sneak off when I can to log onto a computer and catch the game through the yahoo feed! THIS IS HUGE!!!!!!

A win tonight cuppled with Toronto and Montreal loses put the Rangers into a 3 way tie for 8th place, but would control the 8th spot because they would have more wins then Toronto and less loses then Carolina. Still with games in hand on all the team around them.

The islander management likes to bilk their fans. Even in the worse sections, they jack up the prices for teams that draw well. I know someone who goes to Hofstra, and when they try to go to games, the more popular games, tixx are always thru the roof, and he then is also not allowed to use his student discount (which he can use for other games)

Ideally Renney's got to open the game with the same tempo setting line he did on Monday. Don't show any mercy, hit everything you see, fire the kitchen sink at the net. We're also adding Yashin back tonight. Let's not judge the the talent of these two teams based on one game. The Rangers were clearly the hungry team Monday. If they dominate again today, then you can talk, but until then, Monday was just one game. If you look on paper, the Isles are actually very talented now (although their defense can use some upgrading).
