Any Rangers fans around Albany area?

Sorry in advance for those who don't give a damn about this thread...just we dont have a search engine on HF to actually search for a member by location

Anyway, I was wondering if there are any Rangers fans on here who live in Albany or around that area (Troy, Schenectedy, Colonie, Delmare, Latham, etc).

Thanks.

I live in Albany. Pretty much my whole life outside of college and a few odd years here or there. What do you want to know?

Firefly and I both live in CNY but I will soon be moving to Orlando, then possibly to Long Island within the next year.

There are a TON of Ranger fans here, it's the cut off area for Buffalo Sabres fans mostly. The occasional Devils fan also...

We're both from the general area of Utica. I was born in a town called Little Falls which is in Herkimer County.

yeah. played poker there all the time, lots of fish, especially one older chinese lady that basically always just dumped her money to me haha. I wonder if they finally put in the ice rink this year (I haven't been up there since last March or so)

yes, I've heard of Utica.

How far of a drive it is from Utica to Albany? an hour an a half maybe? 2?

Like an hour or so. It usually takes me like an hour and 15 minutes to go from Albany to Turningstone, which is like 10-20 minutes north of Utica.

Nope, a transplant, though I do watch Skidmore hockey at Weible Ave. with a buddy from time to time.

Ahhhh skidmore. Our goalie coach is Peter Loring. He used to play for Skidmore. Good times at that rink, good times.
