Thanks for the early penalty Pouliot. Without that, we could be winning 2-0 right now.

I wonder if a monster has just woken up ... And I'm not talking just within this series. I could see the Flyers eliminating the Penguins if Philadelphia continues to play this way.

McD is most likely hurt...and Girardi has had a lack of focus...especially with some of his passes....how you lack focus is beyond me...but...LGR!!!!!!!!!

You let Hank finish the period, chew the team out in the locker room…put Talbot in and see how they respond.

Game 7...

I had it all wrong. I really thank Hank would shine. I really thought the defense would shut down the Flyers. I absolutely thought that we had taken Simmonds out of this series. I was totally as wrong as I could be.

Two flyers unmolested in front of the Rangers net, is there not freakish imbalance between how often our guys get to the front of opposing team's nets and how rarely we clear people out of ours?

MOLEST THEM! MOLEST THEM!

He hasn't been terrible tonight. One horrible goal.

But where are the big saves from Hank? Where are they? Mason straight up owning him.

This is why I disagreed when someone said he's been great so far.

He hasn't been great.

He's been merely good.

And not even good in this game. Just there.

I just don't think they care. These guys just don't have that competitive edge. They don't care at all about Game 6. They came in here with being content with losing this game, and then trying to play Game 7. Problem is, we won't have any shot tomorrow, a day after playing like a beer league team.

Can't remember the last time Lundqvist stole a game like this.

Flyers PP is KILLING us.

Have to stay out of the box. Their PP actually does something.

Too many Grade A chances against, especially on the PP.

Watch Nash score a meaningless third period goal...

Effin Hank has no challenge to his game. Back in the net, relying on reflexes that are not there.

Eh, I guess he didn't want the rest of the team to feel bad about sucking tonight and he wanted to join the party.

This is not a reaction to this game, as I've said it so many times over the past few years (prior to and after the 11-12 run) I can't even count anymore: we will never be more than a first/second round exit if we don't blow this junk heap up and start with a proper palm, and a new GM. I say it every year and get shouted down when the team gets hot for a minute and grabs a meaningless playoff spot, but nothing ever changes. This team does not have anything in the pipeline that will take them to the next level. Richards, St. Louis, Nash, Lundqvist, Girardi are only getting older. We do not have a strong prospect pool. Perpetual mediocrity.

Anyhow, put Talbot in for the third.

Wish the Rangers had a guy to grab a game by the neck and bend it to his will...

You know they're gonna' poop themselves at MSG tomorrow.

God damn it.

Had big save early, then the wheels fell off with Girardi and McDonagh's gaffes. No clue what the hell he was doing on the 3rd goal. Either go all out or stay in the net.

Yeah, okay Sam and Joe. You're asking this team to score 5 goals in a period and 3 minutes....
