He's been pretty good since the break, he has been blocking some shots and making some nice passes. He's out of the house.

I didn't say he's never spent a minute on the power play. Using your 'logic' Orr and Hollweg are on the power play too because they had power play time on Thursday.

Learn the game.

I used to think you didn't have a clue about hockey. Now that I know that you consider Malik to be part of the Rangers power play units I have confirmation.

Marek Malik

Thursday night he made some key plays handling and clearing the puck at the end of the game. If he does things like that he is a servicable player and can help us. Please, no hand passes or clearing in front of the goal etc.... My fingers and toes are crossed...

Same here and I agree that's probably the reason. People expect every guy above 6-3 to play physical, but it's not reality. He's always been best in front of the net and on the PP.

It's not to say he's great - none of our D-men are (Mara comes the closest and Tyutin might be in the future). We still don't have a defense corps built for the playoffs. Management thinks they're smart buy going out and getting cheap D-men in their late 20s to 30s that have always had potential but will never be consistent enough.

Malik is good on the PP?

We have a very good looking defense corps in the making with Staal, Bobby and Sauer just for starters, im not worried about our defense long term.
