His name came up last night when we were having that discussion at the Ducks game. Certainly a guy who came to play against the Kings

Jan Hejda.

Count it, and the foul! A beautiful game-winner after a turnover. What's not to love.

I wish I knew. It's not terribly reflective of very much, but you'd HAVE to think the Kings lead the league in it this season.

The Kings also seem to lead the league in allowing milestone goals or ending long goal or point scoring droughts.

Yup....if you're stuck on goal #399, #499 or haven't scored in 30 games, etc. Play the Kings - your luck is about to change. And this trend has gone on for YEARS.

Brett Hull used to hit every fricken milestone against LA.

There are two I can remember off the top of my head. Scoring to pass Marcel Dionne and scoring a Hat Trick to I think score 50 goals.

We can at least credit the Kings ended Gretzky's history setting consecutive points streak.

I'm watching the Bruins - Flyers game. Brick was talking about today's date in Bruins history. On today's date in 1987, Craig Janney scored his first goal as a Bruin (1st NHL goal) against the Los Angeles Kings...
