Why wouldn't he go down on a LOW shot?

Rangers lost because they took/were called for too many penalties.
and didnt capitalize on the PP. They put it just one more on the PP the entire game changes.

Prucha isn't allowed to play in OT. Too young. Remember the time he cost us the game against TB last year...Yeah, he hasn't seen OT ice since.

I wasn't expecting a win with so many PP's anyway. Glad I switched the channel and didn't' have to witness the inevitable

Rozsival looked terrible when pressured at all today, and Malik is starting to stand still alot......two bad signs for this team.

No no I blame Renney for using the Jagr PP unit when the 2nd unit has been doing all the PP scoring. Brain surgery would be easier for Tom Renney.

Straka, Nylander, Roszival, Malik--none of them changed or even tried to change as far as I could tell. We just handed away that point. Pathetic.

You people kill me. This is a terrible loss, without a doubt. However almost all of us acknowledged that there would be some let down factor and we would be very lucky to leave the 'Burg with ANY points. I'm mad as hell that we blew the game too, but we got a point. We MUST win tomorrow, but until then save the Doomsday nonsense.

I hope that was sarcastic because the shot was low so he went down then it deflected up. No way can you blame Lundqvist on that.

Half of Pitts pp's were from ******** calls. NY should have tried harder to get a 3rd goal, but when the refs blow a game like this it's disgracefull

Guys, I'm as pissed off as all of you, but let's look at the bright side.

We played like ****, and still got 1 point. We win against Carolina, we're in the 8th spot with a game in hand. Things aren't as bleak as they seem.

Until the puck was deflected is was right at him. It went up because it was tipped up by Malik. The goal had nothing to do with Lundqvist going down. He had the angle on the shot and had it all lined up.

The piss poor pass up the middle into traffic was the cause. The rwing board was wide up, plus there was support there. That is where the puck was required to go.

They didn't play like **** for the first half of this game. They just shut it down once they got a few PPs in a row. I blame this loss on Jagr and his minions tonight. They cost the Rangers this game.

Everyone needs to stop being so dramatic. If Jagr is seriously hurt, we are probably done but if not, fate is still largely in our hands.

Think you guys are being too hard on yourselves... You played a good road game, and got some tough breaks with the calls and the deflections in the 3rd... Recchi should've been called and the the 2nd goal should never have happened, but oh well...

Any word on Jagr on MSG? (saw the game on FSN)

and that is why Dubinsky did not play after the penalty.

Euro Trash

I have had it with the pass first lazy pathetic play of the European players of this team! Straka in OT had the puck in our zone. He could have skated it out and dumped it in but he put one hand on his stick and looked to pass. It was his give away that allowed Malik it tip it in. Nylander is simply the most useless hockey player I've ever seen. Glad he can rack up the assists, but when you take up the full 2 min on every pp, you have to get on the score sheet. Rozival has hands of stone and should be BANNED from the PP. Malik is great for give aways and penalties. Jagr left at the end of the second period to join his mind in Prague. Get the kids up from Hartford. Lets see if Montoya can play in this league. Our 2nd PP unit should get to play more then the last 30 seconds of the PP. And get this Euro trash out of the lineup!

the way these refs handle Crosby unbelievable, did he draw like 5 penalties?

On another note, having Malik and Rosival on the same pairing is really hard to take against quick teams. They cant get out of their own way.

How do you blame it on Jagr? He looked as assertive as he has in weeks prior to his injury.
