This season is toast

Jagr is having hip issues and according to him it's been getting worse and worse

We need him in the line-up at 100% to have a chance to win, at anything less we are cripple, if he's not in the line-up we're done.

Jagr hasn't really done a whole lot anyway. Not really a big deal. All he does is draw the ire from the opposing team. He occasionally gets a point here or there but he hasn't been what I would consider an "impact" player this year.

Let him rest and see if the team has what it takes without him.

Jagr hasn't done diddly poo for most of the year. But even still, he is a massive decoy and takes the pressure off everyone else. Now forget it, they really wont be able to score.

I don't know why everyone calls the season over. You guys still have a chance...I know its been rough in the past...but don't give up...

I hear people say NYC is the best city in the world, and I get disappointed a lot by the pessimism of Rangers fans sometimes.

Dude, outside of a couple of good years, the Rangers futility throughout their history has made Ranger fans like this. Why should they expect any better?

Well, there's a saying in sports, "New York is the best place to be when winning and the worst place to be when losing." Rangers fans are pessimistic because of how the organization has been run for the better part of 10 years but I, personally, feel like we are finally headed in the right direction and that this board can be extreme in both directions depending on the team's recent play...

Its interesting, we will see in the future if loosing Jagr will do diddly poo for this team.
Did you even read what I said? I said without Jagr, this team is screwed.

I said he has done diddly poo on the score board, but he is a massive decoy and takes the attention off of everyone else.

Just cause Jagr doesn't put up points every game doesn't mean he's useless. Give me a break, he's been everywhere these past few games taking dozens of shots. Just hasn't gotten a lot of breaks yet

Anyway, I'm not assuming anything anymore. I'm just going to watch the games and take them for what they are. If the Rangers don't feel they want to be in the playoffs so be it dammit

And, somehow, they're 8-3-3 in the last 14 games. Go figure. Or is this just gallows humor?

Yeah he has done little

but he just leads the team in scoring. The hatred of Jagr from mostly mental midgets is fascinating. Because he does not hit and fight a select group of morons hate him no matter what.

he is by far their best player(beside goalie) and if you cannot even see that you are a total moron.......

I don't see the team going up the standings without Jagr..along with the other pieces missing.

Jagr might not be doing what he did last season, but he's a huge distraction to the other team and he still does get points....he still is a top player in the league easily.

Hey, I guess we'll see how much this team misses Jagr if he's out for any extended time. And, then, if the Rangers keep winning, the cries of Euro-***** will emanate even louder, right?
