Army's knee- looked nasty

I hope he's okay but that did not look good. The skate caught a rut, his leg twisted underneath his body then shot out the front like that. Yipes- it hurt to watch. Let's hope he's got some elastic ligaments...

And, please, for the Armstrong haters, save it for another thread- he's an LA King and it looks like he's hurt; start your own thread bashing DL.

From the standpoint of injuries, this one did look like it sucked.

So does this mean the Kings will be recalling Matt Ryan next?

Isn't Jeff Eu-googily-ano due for a token cup of coffee?

From now on, I would like to change the phrase of a minor league player earning a 'cup of coffee' to 'tea-bagging.' So yes, Jeff Giuliano is due for a token tea bagging.

Giuliano is out probably for the remainder of the season recovering from surgery.

Knowing the Kings communication department, we'll find out in 3 weeks that Army is week to week with a "lower body" injury.

if by almost you mean ridden knee-first into the boards behind the net by Eric Messier, then yeah.

As a Monarchs fan, I hope that's the direction the Kings go if they recall someone but unfortunately for the Monarchs, it will be Gauthier...

Just a lucky guess...

This certainly creates a bit of a situation for the Monarchs at the center position. My guess is Hogeboom will be moved to the pivot and the Monarchs will dress seven defensemen tonight...

Reading already had to go out and sign 3-players to fill out their roster so taking another one from there probably isn't a "good" answer. Perhaps signing a player from another ECHL team to a PTO similar to what they did with Crosty???

And it appears that Gauthier will be wearing #28 with the Kings, which was Tverdovsky's number. Wonder if this means we won't be seeing anymore of Oleg in a Kings sweater...

And the tradition continues for Kings (injury-wise).. Hate to hear any of Kings players get hurt (maybe except for Clu...er ) but at least we are not in the hunt for a playoff spot...
