Do You Think We'll See the Same 4 Conference Finalists as Last Year?

Assuming every team has a 50% chance of winning their series, the likelihood of seeing all 4 of the Blackhawks, Bruins, Kings and Penguins in the Conference Finals again is only at 6.25%. However, all 4 of these teams (even the lower-seeded Kings) are probably seen as the favorites in their respective 2nd Round series. Just interested to see what the percentages are for this.

No, I believe the Ducks will beat the Kings but the other 3 teams will make the Conference Finals.

I think the Kings can take on the Ducks. They just have to really grind them down and beat them at all costs.

i doubt ducks beat kings, they just won 4 straight over the sharks. not to mention boudreau will most defiantly be out coached.

No. Rangers and Ducks have the best chance of making this not happen, and I think at least 1 of them will take their series.

I think so. Can't see Minny beating Chicago, and doubt Montreal beats Boston. The other two are tougher matchups but I think the Pens and Kings are the better teams.

Interesting that even with the cap we're seeing a bit of the Col-Det-NJ from the mid 90s to early 2000s situation when it comes to the playoff lately. I think it shows that the idea of "just make the playoffs and anything can happen" isn't particularly accurate.

It's getting worse. Outside of a few of the years most famously 2012, we don't see the cinderella teams we used to see. Back then one of the representatives was a powerhouse and the other a cinderella team.

Chicago seems to be the most certain.

Anaheim has a high ceiling. Montreal could cobble together a series win. The Rangers are a non-Bylsma coached team. Anyone can win these series.

I think the Montreal Canadiens will beat the Boston Bruins and the New York Rangers will triumph over the Pittsburgh Penguins.

I hope not, last year's semis were boring. I'm seeing a MTL-NYR matchup in the east, and a CHI-ANA matchup in the west.

If Vokoun was in net I would say yes

But with MAF playing I just don't see the Pens getting past the Rangers

Call me a homer but I honestly think Montreal will beat Boston (in 7 games).

Montreal vs. New York
Chicago vs. Los Angeles

You are a homer.

But seriously, you guys showed in the first game that even being outshot/played you are capable of beating the Bruins. Habs advancing wouldn't even be the biggest surprise of the playoffs thus far. Of course you guys are the underdogs, but you still can pull it off.

I hope you lose, tough.
