Nylander is simply the most useless hockey player I've ever seen. Glad he can rack up the assists, but when you take up the full 2 min on every pp, you have to get on the score sheet. Rozival has hands of stone and should be BANNED from the PP. Malik is great for give aways and penalties. Jagr left at the end of the second period to join his mind in Prague. Get the kids up from Hartford. Lets see if Montoya can play in this league. Our 2nd PP unit should get to play more then the last 30 seconds of the PP. And get this Euro trash out of the lineup!
Good, I felt it has been too long since the last nationalistic, ignorant hatred post/thread. You made it alive again.

So, what your're saying is he shouldn't focus 100% on the shot in itself, but take a chance to let in a softy and stay up longer - and wait for his defensemen to deflect it as usual?

As a side note, it's also quite interesting to see how all the hatred for Malik during the season has switched to the "let's hate Nylander for everything he does" hatred. Hate really is a fluctual thing.

It looks like Rozsival is getting tired to me. He's averaged 23:16 in TOI this season, but lately he's been playing much more than that.

3/01 PIT 27:26 (I think this is the game where Roberts hit Tyutin)
3/03 STL 29:35
3/05 NYI 26:51
3/08 @NYI 28:04
3/10 @PIT 28:44

Now three of those games went to OT, but that's still a lot of playing time. Obviously some of it is to make up for the loss of Tyutin. But Rozsival was absolutely dead in the OT this afternoon.

Dubinsky, 4 minutes. What a ****ing waste of a roster spot. This team just makes me shake my head.

just read through some of the pages on the thread.

did any one else seem like this game was totally deja' vu/

we blow another 2 goal lead
someone gets injured - Jagr
a puck bounces off Malik again
the refs screw us again, which wins it for the other team
to many penelties

the list goes on and on...

this game sums up the whole season.

how many penalties did the Rangers take today?

Does Dubinsky kill penalties?

It's obvious why he played as little as he did..

umm that is a joke. After Dubinsky took the penalty, he did not play after that. If it was Betts, Isbister or Malik that took the penalty, they would still have played after the penalty. Dubinsky and Orr did not see much ice time in the 3rd. Why not put Dubinsky on the ice after he his penalty was over?? He did not deserve to get benched.

SBoB...

you're a moderator, you shouldn't be saying things like: "He went down early on Crosby earlier and get lucky". I'm back from China and Hong Kong and that's my only contribution, other than holding leads continues to plague this team. Maybe Lundqvist could've been stronger in nets, but PITT out-skated the Rangers in the third, period.

Also, I was also curious to know why Dubi's taking a defensive zone faceoff against Crosby, which ultimately led to a penatly, and it was his last shift. Didn't recall if there was an icing beforehand; can anyone help? My mind wasn't working well during the game.

SoS...

there was still enough ES time for Dubi to have more than 4 minutes of ice time...didn't Renney state earlier in the season that he didn't want a kid up getting little ice time? Under 9 minutes in each of his two games seems to be little.

It's really, really getting ridiculous how many pinball deflection goals these defensemen score on their own goalie. We're talking 1/game here lately.

Not to mention he was lazy as hell, sulked a lot on the ice and on the bench, and in general was not a good player to have around. That, plus he was "dying alive", to quote him.

Imagine if they had the other half of the old Rozsival/Melichar pairing, there would be twice as many.

you should NEVER tell anybody else what they post is a joke....

dubinsky and orr didn't play much because the rangers went down to three lines...

Fletch i don't blame Renney for Dubinsky minutes...With all the injuries this team combined with the playoff push developing players at the NHL level is taking a bit of a backseat..

I also don't think Dubinsky was totally ready for the NHL....

The Pittsburgh game is the wrong game to talk about minutes for any player...I'm not one to defend Renney but this is nitpicking...
