He also has an .826 save percentage while playing behind a good defensive team. Not impressed.

He's getting completely outplayed by a 23 year old Darcy Kuemper.

You don't actually still believe he's a great goalie, do you? I look forward to watching him humiliate himself and vindicate this Flyers team by proving once and for all that Bryzgalov was the problem with Bryzgalov.

The only reason Bryz isn't at home with the others is because his goaltending counterpart took over after he crapped the crease yet again. Not sure how that makes him look good.

You are kidding, right?

Following your logic:

G- home,
Carbomb- advances. Am I doing it right?

Why is it ironic that Bryz advanced? Had he played the whole series, the Wild would have been golfing by now.

Yeah I don't like Minnesota's chances with Bryz in net, Colorado feasted on him without Duchene in the lineup can't imagine him having much more success against a deeper team in Chicago.

Carcillo actually contributed more to the Rangers advancing than Bryzgalov did in Minnesota. Unless you think getting pulled for a better goalie is a contribution.

Give him the Conn Smythe, he made a single save in game 7.

Bryz didn't have 2 good games, but he did have an ok season after not having a team at the start of it. The Wild were forced to trust him to clinch a playoff spot, and he didn't let them down. That doesn't mean that he is a great goalie, but he does deserve some credit.

He's just been waiting for the best time to shaft his team.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is Bryz's swan song in the NHL & he's playing somewhere in Siberia next year.

To be fair, he played decent this year. But, he has Ryan Suter in front of him. Minnesota's defense is much better than the Flyers'.

kuemper

that guy is gonna be a good goalie for minnie in a few years. if he can keep healthy. how the heck does a goalie get 2 concussions in a couple of months. and who is minnies goalie scout. how do they manage 2 find 2 really good goalies in saskatchewan. this place is not a goalie hotbed by any means. harding was having a carrear year early on then he has ms health related issues.

then when kuemper goes down in the third, im like minnie is dead with bryz. now crazy luck, not a single shot on net in ot, then niedderitter wires that baby, varlamov did not have a clue. then in the third on the tying goal, varlamov comes about 5 feet out of his crease, and he should have been going deeper into the net, so he ends up being 7 feet high and 2 feet wide, the minnie shooter had pretty much an empty net.

then watching niemi in regular season and the playoffs, his performance in game 7 especially, made me realize, he did not help chicago win the cup in 2010, our goalie leighton helped us lose it. if we had mason in 2010, we would have won the cup, over a pretty stacked chicago team.

i think that should be fairly obvious ....

who here, at season's start, would have predicted that of: Mason, Bob, Emery & Bryz, that only Bryz would get into round 2 while actually seeing game action ?

Nobody, because Bryz had played so horribly he was on an ECHL tryout at season's start.

And unless Kuemper is back soon, he won't be playing for long. That .821, 4.17 GAA stat line behind a great defensive team really points to how much of a heap of garbage he is.

Bryz is an incredible piece of crap. I understand some people like his personality, but defending his play is more absurd than putting Rinaldo on the top line.

Bryz faced one shot in the game that got the Wild to the second round.

There's no irony because Bryz wasn't the goalie that allowed the Wild to win the series. Kuemper won three games, got injured in the fourth win and Bryz did almost as little work possible as the team in front of him scored the OT goal.

It may have been ironic if Bryz was the goalie of record for all four wins. How it unfolded = no irony what-so-ever.

Another sub .900 SV% performance today from Bryz. Never fails to disappoint. If only the Wild didn't bench him halfway through the 2nd game, the Avs would still be playing.

Sniped from the left circle. Something about that area renders Bryz incapable of stopping shots.

He hasn't had a good series but with or without him there's a good chance this is going to be a sweep. Minny is just be outclassed overall by Chicago right now.
