Immonen from Baranka at 6:29 SH..

Dawes back on the team..

i haven't ordered it, although i may for the 2nd period..

(kind of copying FlyLine's GDT, going for the luck and experience)

Hartford up

1 to 0 on a shorthanded Immonen goal from Baranka. Have to be leaving shortly so I probably catch up on this until later but there is a game on.

Jessiman playing well?

And is Bourret still invisble for the most part?

almost 4-0 right after that 3rd goal, i didnt get to see it because they were showing some pictures on the Feed..

after the period finishes a scuffle starts.. someone tries to take on Dawes, Liffiton and Jessiman come in and try to hold things down..

end of 1st, 3-0 Pack

just tuned in with 3 or so minutes left in the first.. will keep an eye out for Bourret and Jessiman as they are the most interesting players in my eyes, in terms of development/confidence, on the team right now..

Jarkko Immonen could score 100 goals in a game and still wouldnt sniff significant ice time for the Rangers.

There are plenty of guys who can score goals upon goals in the minors that dont even look like decent NHLers so it's not as if it is criminal. On that note, Immonen has looked fairly good in the games he's played.

Or Renney is just wrong on him. Seems like Renney doesnt love him, but who knows.

I think the Rangers just feel Dubi has a bit more to offer in a physical NHL playoff style game right now. I get what your saying Inferno. Feel kinda bad for Jarrko, but the Rangers coaching staff seem to be making the right calls. Gotta give them the benefit of the doubt right now. They seem to have their fingers on the pulse that keeps the Rangers alive.

16 shots for the Pack in that period. Back to their 30+ per game clip. I like the fact that these guys just pour on the rubber.

One train of thought MIGHT be that, while Immonen may offer slightly more offensively at the NHL level than Dubinsky at the current time, spoon-feeding Dubinsky in this type of environment may be much more important for a player they regard as essential to their future (Dubinsky).

Well your really invested then. That's great. I think Jarrko will get his shot....just maybe not with the Rangers. He's a good player.

Rangers and Pack almost 100% different in the ways they play.

naw, i let it expire, you can take control of it if you want. I think Jarkko may be a good 3rd line center, but i know he wont ever play for the Rangers, so I dont really care to keep it.

Yeah, I'd agree with you there. Dubi is the kind of player the Rangers have lacked and really need. He's a guy that will dish it out, take it back, and make some great skill plays. Size, skill, and grit, that's a good combination to have in that 2nd line role I think he's headed for.
