awesome, 4-0 'Pack!

Callahan, missed being an SH goal by 1 second or so.. (even though theahl.com says it is an SHG)

Dawes had a great pass from Richter and tried dangling by 2 Falcon players..

Bourret seemed to be eyeing a solid hit, but just missed it, on his last shift..

(weird, radio feed is taking a break, but the game is still going on)

While he still has some holes in his game, what I like is that, he finishes his checks, he goes to the net, and has tried to be smart defensively. And, he's put pressure on offensively, getting some nice chances.

I know people are going to complain about his ice time, but, I think Renney is being very cautious with him. But, remember, unlike Immonen, Dubi's 20-years-old, getting ice time in a nightly struggle for the playoffs. He's not playing on the 4th line. he's getting time with Straka and Avery, and even some scant PP time. Yeah, he got pulled after the bogus call against Crosby. But, when you think about it, I'm sure even sure that comes down to Dubi himself. Think about it...20-year-old, with little experience against the league meal ticket? Why put the kid in that kind of vulnerable situation? He bounced back today, and got more pertinent ice time...he's was pretty much rolled out every 4th shift.

Purinton with a high-stick.. penalty.. wonderful..

(they've gotten two SHG's so far already, might as well go for another..)

wowza.. a great bit of skating hard and fast (yes skating) by Immonen chasing the puck down into the Falcons zone, and passes it into the slot for a great shot by Dawes (i think)..

then Richter takes a Boarding call, with 44 seconds left on the Purinton call..

Wow, it looks like we're rebounding pretty well here.

Just an FYI, the first prospect feature has now been posted in the entry draft thread. I think you all might be pleasantly surprised, and as always feedback is welcome.

ah! killed the first penalty off and almost (30 seconds left) on the 2nd (Richter) one..

a Springfield takes a Hi-Sticking penalty to make it 4-a-side for a bit.

but it all comes down to which experience helps his growth more. Personally I think he is better off finishing out the year in Hartford and starting with the big club next year than he is playing right now. Hes playing well, but as you say, hes got some holes in his game that can, and SHOULD be fixed in Hartford than here. Id probably have Immonen up here playing Dubinskys minutes. Thats just me though.

Its the same way i feel about Korpedo. he can obviously play at this level right now, but for his development and for the future of this franchise, I think hes much better off playing this year (And probably all of next year) in the minors.

He'll be back Hartford for the playoffs, once Hossa and Shanny are back.

I think it just comes down to the fact that the Rangers need Dubi where he is, and they will try and put him in a place where he can succeed a bit. A little under 12 mins today...not bad. I think those are quality minutes where Dubi will learn a ton of good stuff.

nice puck movement from point-to-point, down the right side and across the mouth of the goal to a waiting Callahan who sniped it top corner, but the Falcons goalie did a good job getting over and stopping the shot.

jessiman skated in well and had good patience coasting by a couple of Falcon players.. got it on net, but no goal..

did it again.. seemed like the Falcons are just a bit tired and letting him get through..

Penalty coming for the WolfPack..

Liffiton, tripping at 3:40..

????

hahahha. 11 seconds into the PK, Callahan gets his 2nd goal of the game, a nice backhand top-shelfer for his second SHG of the game too..

5-0 Pack.. Callahan with his 35th..
