When the Pack are playing well they can just embarrass teams. Me thinks things might get a bit chippy down the stretch here.

something is wrong with my PC, 3rd time since starting this game that i've had to restart it.. anyways, back on track

its a Wolfpack powerplay.. 8th of the game, 2 SH goals.. 0-7 so far on PP..

(guess there was a big fight, cuz there are 3 guys in the Falcons box)

edit: nope, 2 roughings and one tripping..

0-8 on the PP so far..

Rullier comes out of the box and knocks Montoya down after he plays the puck..

PP again for the Pack..

(actually upon 2nd glance, looks like Montoya just plopped down on his own on his own butt, haha)

apparently Lessard and Fritz "tangled" about 5 minutes ago.. (thats for the poster who wanted Fritz to get tagged)..

2:00 left in the 3rd..

Pack 0-9 on the PP yet STILL lead 5-0, wow..

Pack win!

Montoya with the shutout (even though he didn thave to do much)

Sounds like the pack just DOMINATED that whole game.

Wolfpack with the 5-0 win!

Montoya with the ShutouT!

was less of a domination by the Pack, moreso of a pathetic game by the Falcons..

they did the stick salute at the end of the game, but i just missed taking a snapshot of it.. damn..

1st Star: Jarrko Immonen
2nd Star: Ryan Callahan
3rd Star: David Liffiton (who almost falls on the ice)

Misc Info:
Callahan ties the Pack rookie goal record with his 35th of the seasons (last year it was Dawes who set the record)
Montoya making a paltry 14 saves on 14 shots by the Falcons (ties a franchise record for shots against) for his 5th SO
Immonen has a 3 point night/afternoon, off 6 shots, with his 2G, 1A game.
Dawes gets a good goal from a nice play by Jessiman to cap off a decently fiesty game

Montoya:
2.13 GAA - 2nd in AHL
.919 Save % - 4th in AHL
5 Shutouts - 3rd in AHL

Among active goalies.

Looks like Korpedo have slowed down a bit after his hotstreak.

i think it was in reference to goalies like Jaro Halak from Hamilton, who is up with Montreal (for good i guess) after Huet went down for the season with an injury... he's still in the stats though...

Yeah Jarkko is asking to be called up again so he can be deemed as the foot speedless not our future center. Poor guy. All he does is wow me and entertain down here. Great game tonight. Springfield is just terrible. Their only good part, Ramo, didn't even start in net.

p.s. Ryan Callahan is just ridiculous to watch play. He's a great one on one guy.

Why does it seem like the Pack have been playing every night?
