Pro Stock Sticks VS Retail Sticks ?

I am trying to understand the difference between Pro Stock and Retail Sticks. In the market for a new stick and have seen a lot of Pro Stock sticks on Ebay. I checked some websites and it seems the prostock are cheaper too.

Thanks.

- Could be either completely custom or exact same as retail equivalent (ex. pro stock TotalOne may or may not be the same as retail)
- Possible custom curve, shaft, construction, blade, flex, grip, level of durability etc.

If you are interested in looking at pro stock sticks, I suggest you narrow it down to a few sticks that fit your preferences for curve and flex, ignoring brand and paintjob. Post the links here and I can help you decipher what the stick codes mean. On most sticks, there are indications of what it really is either on the shaft of the stick or the label on the handle. The seller might know what it is as well.

No warranty
I find a lot of them are a lot stiffer than indicated flex- probably to avoid breakage.

This isn't a pattern, the 'feel' of flex depends on construction.
