I am not so high on kosty bcz I have only seen him play 2-3 times before this call-up and he did not impress me, but from what ppl here say he played wel. anyway, if he busts , journalists will say : " oh we draft tooo many russians players and they bust"
Sickening, but I guess it's to be expected. I think winning last game might actually hurt the team's playoff chances because Carbo will probably stick with those atrocious lines for awhile. Ugh.
Has anyone heard any updates on Perezhogin? Was he able to practice with the team today? It probably doesn't matter though; he'll probably join Kostitsyn in the press box when he's healthy and then the two of them can return to Russia next season. I hope that doesn't happen, but I think it's a legitimate possibility considering their interviews this year and how much the coaching staff seems to dislike them (Kostitsyn particularly, Perezhogin was finally getting some chances right before he got hurt).
With Kovalev out, they had Kost practice with Lapierre and Bégin earlier today.
Slow french player with a slumping Koivu with a third line player.
Two great young players for Montreal playing with a defenseman.
A player we waived with a slow third line center with mr. brain cramp himself.
Sir Laz-alot with two french grinders.
Such a load of crap again. He was sent down after first being called up because he wasn't giving his best effort, according to Carbo. This time he has. So he earns himself a scratch. Johnson on the first line again, Streit on the second... Murray playing at all.
