If Janne dresses up, he'll most likely play D, not forward..
.. i hope

I'd much rather have Kostitsyn in the line-up tough, if he's out again, it's a sick joke.

look my reply in the kovalev out for tonight thread
their is my lineup with you know what
ninimaa as a forward:
for those who are lazy: today 11:59 AM

ill call up grabovsky
higgins-koivu-ryder
latendresse-plekanec-jonhson
samsonov-grabovsky-Kostitsyn
begin-bonk-lapierre

markov-komisarek
souray-streit
bouillon-dandenault

aebischer
leighton

but since carbo is an idiot
the lineup will be something like this

Latendresse-Koivu-Johnson
Streit-Plekanec-Higgins
Murray-Bonk-Ryder
Begin-Lapierre-Ninimaa

Markov-Komisarek
Souray-Dandenault
Bouillon-Gorges

Aebischer
Leighton

maybe switch dandy and ninimaa I guess
to have 3 quebecers on the same line for carbo

Why would we put our crap defensemen to play as forward when we got young guns like grabovski and kosty avalaible ? I really don't understand even though it's a defensive line, but still. It's a sick joke even if only Streit is winger before Kosty. No need to mention that unmotivated Kosty will be a better force in front than "hard-working" Jane.

Kosty is not the player you thought he was, that's it. He doesn't work hard enough to be a star on the NHL, let alone play in the NHL at this point. Stop kidding yourselves, it's not funny anymore.
More like it's crystal clear that Carbo is an idiot. There's NO excuse for playing Niinimaa AS A FORWARD over Kostitsyn. If this comes true, I'll have officially given up on Cabro.

Well if Niinimaa dresses than I change my original prediction of 7-2 Habs, to 5-3 Habs.

Carbonneau makes me I wish I could change my allegiance to another NHL team but deep down I know I can't.

This is one of the most important games of the year in my opinion. For what ever reason if this team comes out flat tonight were not going very far this year. We need to put up some kind of fight tonight. Will see what are players are made off tonight. This is one of these games that could kill us in the standing or put us were we want to be for the final strech.

The only reason you guys don't like Carbo is because of how much icetime he gives to Kosty and Perez, the official "chou-choux" of HFBoards. They're not good, live with it.

Slots defence in forward position
Does not play good young players
Promotes players who do not deserve it
Bad line combination
Bad bench management
Never uses time outs
Handles the goaltending situation poorly
Puts the wrong lines out in the wrong situations
Teaches a terrible system
Cannot motivate his team
Cannot communicate with his team
Works against the strength of his players
Alienates players
Benches players who get results
Plays players that no one in the league wanted

That's a few things he does..

Barely 22 years old and Kostitsyn isn't good.

Very smart, you are.

I hate saying it because I tried to hold out and support him for so long but I just cannot understand or support the moves he makes. He just seems like a bad coach. Can he get better in time? I don't know, but it would be hard to make worse choices than he has occasionally done so far... I was so optimistic about Guy but, he's done nothing but continually make me doubt him. And I RARELY doubt a coach, I supported Julien in most of his decisions for instance.

I just wish I could get a candid interview with Guy and outright ask, what the hell are you thinking?!

I don't know why our team has an obsession with getting rookie coaches. For once, I'd like to get someone with some experience who knows what the hell he is doing. We can blame it on rookie mistakes, but some of these things that he does are completely no-no's. He's not Scotty Bowman, if Scotty Bowman did these things, than I wouldn't question them.. but Carbonneau has gotten very limited results from his team and does have much support from his players because I believe he's lost the dressing room with his terrible decision-making.

Is Leighton in limbo or what? Is he on the Habs roster and just sitting in the press box with Niinimaa and co.?

I hope I won't see Niinimaa in the line-up tonight. I hope he won't take someone's place upfront. Please, no. I don't understand, if it really happens, how do they choose.

I guess Kostitsyn is the father of Morrow's wife.

And as for the whole Carbo is an idiot thing......give it up. He is trying to coach a team of babies that don't get along so he is most likely giving the players that work hard and play hard every day a chance over some of the lazier players...like Kostitsyn and the biggest baby Samsonov.

I defended Samsonov all year, but now I don't want to EVER see him wear a Montreal Canadiens jersey again.........EVER!!!!!!!!
