so Boston is sitting Mez for a younger better option.
I thought veterans have earned the right to get pass after pass after pass for poor play and younger players should not be playing ahead of them.

Not going to deny the Bruins have a tough team but lets not act like they do not dive. they do there fair share of it. Everyone does. even the Flyers.
This for me is all about not liking Boston. I don't like Montreal either, but like I said I have to listen to their fans every day on a daily basis. if I didn't live around here I would probably feel the same way.
its a definite anti Boston thing.
I don't have a problem with LA. Its that Monarchs connection. nothing more.
I think if the Ducks win tomorrow night they win the next 2. Just a feeling.
the other 3 series all will probably go 7 games.

I think we can all agree the reason Mez was playing so much there in the the middle of the season was because other teams were calling about his services. He was definitely being showcased as he was the 2nd best option available at the d position at the deadline.

I don't think it has to do anything with accountability with his play, they just wanted to have him out there so a team could take a chance on his play.

I can guarantee you that Habs fans are 100x worse than Bruins fans

they likely are and since you have to deal with them more then I do I don't blame you for rooting against Montreal.

That probably hurt his value.

There was a stretch there where he was playing at a ppg pace with very limited pp time and he was still only a +1 in that span. And that's with the easiest minutes on the team. Mez today has to outscore his defensive mistakes, something pretty hard to do.

Yeah, I doubt they were just showcasing him. Berube clearly wanted to play him. A top contender paid a 3rd (possibly a 2nd, doubtful) for him at a position of need (since Seidenberg went down) and Meszaros looked pretty terrible in anything besides point production.

So even if they were showcasing him, okay I guess?

Man, I wonder what Hiller did to receive such scorn from Boudreau. played we'll in relief and earlier on and now benched for a rookie in game 4.

Gibson has played well so far, Ducks are looking good as of now.

Kopitar with a double minor midway through the third.

I thought only rookies make that mistake?

Yes he is! A ballsy call by Boudreau and it's paying off

If I were a Ducks fan I'd be OK with it...from what I've seen of the two, Gibson when he's really on his game is better than Hiller when he's one his. Higher upside there.
