Also drew a PP, real strong on the puck!

Crappy 2nd period for NY. 2 goals against, and lack-luster play won't win you games. They need to come out hard and get the next goal

They let up one goal because Ortmeyer can't clear a puck, which is pathetic. The other one was a result on the fix being in.

itd be really sweet if shanny came in the locker room between periods and ripped them a new ass... that would totally work.

Will we ever hang on to a 2 goal lead again?

I mean come on, there has to be a line drawn somewhere? Whats with these asstastic goalie interference calls lately? Mara gets two for getting pushed by Emery?

Sigh, I don't know what to say. The chances of us now winning this game are so slim that I don't even want to finish watching it

As I said...No excuse for the Rangers coming out completely flat in the 2nd period.

I sure as hell hope so. And I also hope he brings his early season game with him.

Need to dump and cycle get that momentum going.

Great to hear Shanny feeling better, and being at the Garden, such a good team guy. Get back soon Shanny!

How in the world did you manage to get him involved in the flaming? But it's all Lundqvist's fault, right?

Nah, no short handed goals...and the Senators are actually a good team compared to the lowly Bumble Bees.

It's happened so much this year that we should be expecting it but no matter how many times it does happen it seems to catch me off guard. Incredible, I really didn't expect that after the very solid first that the Rangers played. Really, I shouldn't be shocked though. Oh well, here's to a good third. This is a big game. They all are at this point.

Is it too early to hope for a shootout?

I sense a 3-2 lead by the Rangers, blown in the last 5 minutes and then losing in overtime.

Or it could be like that 3rd period the last time against Ottawa. Please?

Ottawa's been blowing a bunch of leads recently as well. That's pretty much the only thing going for us now

Does any know the number of games which we are winning 2 nothing and blow it? Is it me or does anyone else hate when we score the first 2? Do we just give up on offense when ahead or do we just get lazy?

Ha! I think Al Trautwig reads this board...
He basically asked if we could go straight to shootout.
