not a big fan of liffiton myself. i think hes had a few callups before and has looked overwhelmed by the pace of the game.

He's been called up once last year and played 8:42. How are you going to make a judgment on him based on that? According to a few who have seen him play in Hartford and Renney himself, he has been playing solid in the last couple of weeks...

Baranka would be my choice, but i dont like the idea of throwing him into the fire. he should be a regular by next season for sure though (if you ask me)

I like Pock I think hes been pretty decent, I like his game, he can play, No fan of Rachenuk, but he has played well the past 10 games, especially since being paired with Mara, I would love to see Lifton, Sagunetti or Baranka get the call. I'm actually happy this is happening, I did not think we were making the playoffs since early November, but being that we are so close seeing how these guys preform under some pressure should be interesting.

They are dropping like Flys though.

Martin Richter is terrible, you don't want him.

Liffiton is fiesty. Baranka is solid as well. Degon is my favorite.

Ah, you're right. I forgot about Mr. Sauer. Philippe Furrer is also an option.

As you can see, losing Rachunek isn't really a problem with all these possibilities to take his place.

Eh, Jake...he's not bad but I'd even take Corey Potter on the Rangers before him.

Why is Kasper not being considered as an option?

I think Pock has been pretty steady.

Ranger D for most part have been getting support from the forwards.

Thomas J ....I gotta disagree with your assesment. Although I haven't been able to watch nearly enough games, what I've seen of Pock is not an NHL caliber player. He hasn't really developed much since we first saw him in 04 defensively....and he still is a VERY weak defenseman in terms of inside the blue line. For all the bashing he takes, Rachunek is light years better in our own end, and yes, he has seemed to find a comfort level with Mara. Pock is officially an experiment that has failed in my eyes....a poor mans Tom Poti. Extremely deficient in his own zone.....with some offensive ability, and a decent shot. A player who gets beat to the outside with regularity by opposing players.
