I'm really interested in who the Canucks do decide to pick. I think its probably a no brainer to pick any of the top 5 if they drop, but after that BOP is really up to what they value the most. Some people lean to Ritchie and Virtanen, and others to Nylander/Kapanen/Ehlers. Would be interesting to find out what their draft board looks like.

The Canucks have the potential to have the easiest pick in the 1st round. All it takes is 1 team to go off the board and with Burke/Flames, that's not impossible. Not to mention, Edmonton doesn't seem like they are going for another smallish centre.

Now if the top 5 are taken, then yes, it gets a bit tricky. But for me, Ritchie is a clear 6th.

Followed by Virtanen, Ehlers and Nylander (based on specific team needs).

Wait... what happened to Shinkaruk? I thought he had all the attributes that Ehlers is being touted for.

So, does Winnipeg have the easiest pick at #9, whoever is left from Virtanen, Ehlers, Nylander and Ritchie? Or do they go off the board a bit (as they have in the past), for a player like Tuch or Fiala?

Hey... that gives me an idea for a new thread.
