Nene has really been pretty bad since game 1. This series has to give Grunfeld pause about the price to resign Gortat and eventually Nene.

Man the Wizards just cannot buy field goals or free throws down the stretches of games. Indiana on the other hand hitting ridiculous shots. Shame.

Wow just awful execution. Haven't really liked the approach we took in the second half. Quite predictable; high screen and that's about it. Ball didn't move much.

I guess George stopped sleeping with Hibbert's wife.

Well

That's the series. Too bad, as I thought they had a chance.

Pacers are too good. Wish Atlanta had somehow won that game 6,

Good learning experience for Wall and Beal. Perhaps it will be some stripes towards the future.

I really don't think the Pacers are "that good". Hibbert has been able to get away with Murder since he was crucified in game 1. Dude's been a traveling machine.

I will say, my biggest gripe with this team is with 2 minutes left if they're down by more then 1 they fall in love with the 3. They've done it all year and I don't get why.

Really wish Wall would stop jumping in the air and look to pass, it's such a turnover move yet he does it over and over again.

Classic DC sports team:

Reel you in and then punch you in the nuts with the folding chair.

I think its a coaching directive because Whitman should have yelled at them to knock that off.

Nene has been useless, absolutely useless for most of this series. That has been the difference. Gortat has been only a little better. Indy's front court has been the difference.

Lol phantom call on Nene. Are you kidding me? Classic example of a ref calling what they expect rather than what they see. That's why I really have no problem with the "late" calls as long as they are correct.

No answer for Gortat from Indiana. Hibbert having another Rick Nash game.

This is such a Caps like performance. They'll squeak one out at home game 6 and then get crushed back in Indy.

Nene joked after last game, I know it looked like we were missing on purpose.

It still looks like he is.

For their relative inexperience as a unit I feel these guys have a legit understanding of what it takes to win in the playoffs. When they rebound like this they demoralize the other team.

Jimenez is really starting to turn his season around. Two fantastic starts in his past three, and the other was a scrappy performance that worked out well. Tommy Hunter, on the other hand, is awful. It's one thing when you can close out games despite letting runners on. It's another to let them on and then blow the save. Repeatedly.

Has Hunter had even one 123 inning this season??

That there is enough to pull the plug on him as the closer.

I say give it to Britton.

They're probably more likely to give it to O'Day and it is nice to see Ubaldo turn the corner a bit here.
