Well I'll fess up.

I did not see them winning today. After yesterdays collapse I thought today's game would just be a formality.

Extremely impressed with their resiliency. What an victory.

Since when is a goalie allowed to hit a player in their crease? Jarry threw a hit. It wasn't incidental contact. It was Jarry taking a guy out who was trying to get around him.

Then he almost gave em another one trying to throw it down the middle of the ice with about 20 seconds to go.

Whatever, I don't want to argue. Great win from the team and Jarry was excellent (for the most part )

Team won the championship! That's all that matters!!! W00T!

They're all inwardly sobbing and wondering if some extra d-bag plays would have netted them the championship.

well, they lost to a better team. When a team can win two games 5 and 7 in your barn, they're just better.

Great Win. Jarry with some scary moments at the end though.

They look like they still have some left in the tank too for the Mem Cup compared to 2012.

SO he is supposed to get boxed out of his crease and potentially run into and injured by the Winterhawks player? Thats just silly. If it was a defenceman or something maybe, but I dont think a Goaltender should get called for that. Its a little silly to be honest.

Oil Kings just won the the Ed Chynoweth Cup!!! They did it on Portland ice too with the crowd solidly against them great job guys. When the Oil Kings last won the EC cup in 2012, they did not win the memorial cup they will now get another shot at it I hope they bring it home to Edmonton!! This made my day time to celebrate!

Congrats to the Oil Kings.

After watching the Oilers fail for years the pessimist in me thought they'd never pull it off tonight.

They proved me wrong and I admit to feeling a little bit ashamed about not having faith.
