I HATED the St. Louis trade. Still do.

That said, I posted a thread after the deadline passed to the effect of "welp, for better or worse these are our horses - let's ride 'em as far as they can go." Whether or not I agree with the moves off the ice, once the puck drops I'm always rooting for the win.

If we've got to sacrifice yet another 1st round pick at the altar of Sather's ego, beating the ice chickens in their barn in a game 7 would be about the best way I can think of to do it...

Meh, if we win I think it would be 27th overall. Not worth losing sleep over, never mind hoping for a loss. Regardless of this trade every time you win a playoff series your pick gets worse but most people would rather win.

Bfr...

as a true fan, what else are you going to do? Secretly sit back and hope they fail and you're proven correct? Yep, you're right, these are the horses and people are either fans are not (plus, one can always spin their way into being right about an opinion, unless one says "this team will never do x with this person" and "x" is achieved!). Let's go Rangers!

I certainly hope they win, but at the bare minimum I just want them to keep playing like they did in games 5 and 6. If they play well but lose, well, at least they made Pittsburgh earn it and didn't just roll over like in game 4. It will suck if that happens and they lose but I'll be happy they showed the guts and ability to come back and make this a series.

So, go Rangers

e: and yeah Glass is pretty bad, that's probably a downgrade if he's in the lineup and possible indication that the rough stuff is getting into the Pens heads

Brad Richards time, let's go. It would be cool if Rick Nash the friendly ghost got going, we've all seen what a desperate, motivated Nash can do.

Will Brassard score the first OT goal again?

No OT.

A convincing win in regulation is what we need.

You will thank your cardiologist later.

Absolutely. We can waste this cup opportunity and then have a chance to and win 2 or 3 cups.
