We're spending the entire shift chasing around in our end, finally getting control of the puck, and having to flick it out and get the line change. Same thing that happened last night.

Not a single shot, let alone scoring chance.

What's a power play? Preds 5 chances Wings 1. Brutal no call on the Dumont slash of Chelios.

We're even. See the Lebda\Nichol incident. No call on that one either, and Nichol's out for three weeks because of it.

Congrats to the Central Division Champion Red Wings
Now we can go get swept by the Stars and Leipold can start talks with KC.

Cool. How did you become a hockey and Preds fan from there.

PS: Preds fans: Don't get too down. The rece is far from over. Besides, the biggest thing facing the Preds is getting healthy for the playoffs. No one will remember who finishes 1'st or 4'th in the West. Everyone will remember who wins the Cup.

Take a breather. How many games in a row did you get at least a point before this including a tough West coast swing? How many guys are injured? How bad did Detroit look against Boston Sunday? The Preds are a solid team. Don't judge the seaon on 2 games.

The problem is that, back in October, we all said, "the division will come down to that mid march home and home with the Wings,"

And very likely, it did.

Easy for you to say your team just dominated 2 playoff type games but
it's very dishearting when your owner is looking to move to another city and your one hope to keep the team is finishing 1st in the division to advance to the 2nd round and hope he makes enough $$$ to change his mind. We are dead meat if we are 4th and play San Jose or Dallas everyone knows that.

So, did Mason have a decent night? I know he let up 3 goals and lost, but is he worthy of another start or is this vokie's show the rest of the way? Tough loss tonight.

That's overreacting. We lost, and I'm frustrated too...but you've been told that until you can back up the "Leipold is looking to move, unless this year's playoff changes his mind" talk that it's BS hearsay.

Well we played hard. Tough to lose this one after probably controlling the first two periods. Both teams played extremely well....its a shame we couldn't bury some of those point blank chances.

The one thing that bothers me the most is how bad our PP breakouts are and how easily our schemes are to frustrate.

Sorry, I agree what is going on with your owner and talk/rumors/threats of moving is beyond low. However, I disagree about finishing 1'st or 4'th having a big impact on round I of the playoffs this year. Canucks, Dallas, San Jose, Minny, and Calgary are all bunched too tightly to try to guess who will finish 5'th. Besides, Calgary with Kipper, Iginla, and their D would worry me just as much or more than Dallas or San Jose. San Jose's D is weak and Turco has lots of questions about his play in the playoffs. If Nashville can get healthy, they have just as good of a shot as anyone in the West. All 8 teams are solid and capable of making a run. This is the most wide open I have ever seen a conference going into the playoffs. An arguement could be made for or against any of the teams.
