Your right about kitchener and london, mike richards and corey perry got into one of a hell of fight in a playoff series in 2005
And that wasn't their best fight -- it occurred earlier in the year, but it's never made it to youtube....

Kitchener/London games are always intense; Kitchener/Guelph games have lost a little of the hatred in the past couple of years, but it's coming back.

portland and seattle

2006 Playoffs, Game 7 in the key arena, down 3-0, heart and soul kyle bailey breaks his ankle, brandon dubinsky scores 3 goals to tie it up and bubnick (or was it hansen?) scores the game winner in OT, portland fans louder than the t-bird fans in their old building. Sure its not what it was in the early 90's but this is still a great rivalry. Anyone who has spent any time around this rivalry knows it goes back much more than just the hawks and t-birds.

On that note, how many memorial cups has seattle won? Oh wait, how many WHL championships has seattle won? hmmm....

Kelowna and Kamloops are great rivals as are Saskatoon and Prince Albert.Regina has hot rivalry with Moose Jaw. Swift Current and the Hat as rivals, well that one almost transcends the game itself in the WHL. So many battles to advance in the playoffs or win the Memorial Cup. Beautiful stuff. For the WHL it is the Subway Series. The stuff that players, coaches and fans live to watch.
