great interview... always nice from a player to reply fans questions, he's really a nice person !

But he said it clearly that he was happy to leave montreal... players seem to be always happy when they got traded from montreal, he's not the first one to say so !

well. He cannot say that we didn't want to come to san Jose and that he hate that city and etc. Its called PR.
In the same way Gorges said he was happy to come to Montreal.

He also said it was nice to be on a team with big, talented forwards... and that it was nice to be in a city where the media focuses on the team and not on individuals and not nitpicking every little mistake.

I wish we could say that

I'm not saying otherwise... but we've seen many players crying when they got traded (Gretzky, Smyth, etc.)... I'm not saying I want ex-habs players to cry once they get traded but we can't say a lot of players were sad leaving the club, they always mention that they expected to be traded and they comment on the fact that there is too much pressure in montreal !

Craig Rivet: The style I was playing in Montreal was the complete opposite of San Jose. We were defensive minded on everything. He're our forwards are talanted and big and we use that on the forecheck. The coaches tell me to help pressure the attack. I have to get used to it and it will take a couple more games before I'm 100 percent confident in everything I'm doing each game.
It's probably a first for him.

It'll be great when Montreal defeats San Jose in the Stanley Cup final this season.

He said something like" we're asked to support the ofrense and creat pressure." It's funny but Carbo asks that to his defense all the time so the forwards have an easier time.

ZING!!!!

Rivet is showing his worth in San Jose, after playing for a team somewhere else he probably wont want to come back to the habs, its too bad really we could use a defenceman of his tallent and pricetag who else is going to replace him? Boullion?.
