We talked about this tonight but it would have been nice to have Lapierre as well. Well we have a ton of depth now but he could have played a similar role to that of Weise. Now we will face Moore who is also an awesome 4th liner and scored a big goal for us against WSH in 2010. Anyway. Something like Prust-Lapierre-Weise next season would be sick.

I read on twitter that Aaron Ward ripped into Lucic...what did he say exactly?

Wasn't such a no-brainer at the time it was announced, with several novels churned out by a majority of our forum "experts" about the hidden legend of Diaz and how Bergevin had gotten ripped off.

He'll probably regret that. He looks completely immersed in the game still.

It's Ryan White who's on the way out.
As much as I appreciate Ryan White, Weise is an overall better player.

I hope we can still find a spot for White since Moen is slowing way down.

Weise is better right now than a 5th rounder who will take years to progress and the odds are that they will not even make it to the NHL.

We won it big time. Glad the Canucks were not left holding a bag though.

I missed that handshake stuff. Wow, just wow.

And over the Bruins board they're just saying it's all good, Milan is a competitor, doesn't like to lose.

Now, imagine, just imagine for a second, if Subban did that after a Habs loss.

At least Iginla showed some class..couldn't have been easy being the guy who shakes their hands after Mr. Class. He looked apologetic.

Lucic even had a little something to say to Prust as well.

Weise has been a fantastic addition. Scores clutch goals, works hard in all zones and plays a physical brand of hockey. He's a big game player, and has played himself into a contract with this team. Fantastic pick up by Bergevin.

He was in the Bruins heads the entire series. From the chest thumping mockery, to mocking Lucic's flexing, he was an integral part of this series win. Good on him.

I was over on their Board and about 90 % are saying Lucic was wrong to do it , showing no class etc.

Would still love to have Diaz as depth, but Weise has been a monster in these playoffs. He's also not afraid to talk **** to the toughest guys out there. Not a moment of hesitation trolling Lucic. he's pretty much a bigger, faster lapierre. I like.

Vancouver made a joke out of raising his jersey to the rafters for doing nothing for them.

I'd be cool raising his jersey temporarily after what he's done through two rounds.

Iggy has only been a Bruins for one season, hasn't been completly intoxicated with the whole whining classless act yet. He can be saved.

Lucic Chara Boychuck and Marchand are the 4 guys I dislike most on that goon team. looks good on them. Chara with the game winner thanks to Johnny boy. Weise has been awesome. Also like to say Weaver has been total stud on the back end!

I take solace from the fact that Gillis's ******* up with Weise ended up helping you guys beat the bruins. Congrats on a great series, glad Dutch Gretzky has found a home in Montreal!
